"Sadly it’s a bit of a hit and miss here. The rooms are nice but miss on some design flaws. You should be an able to turn the lights of that are on the sides off the tv without tuning all room lights off. The bathroom and shower lights should work independently. Most employees were joyful and helpful. We did experience a few that you could tell just did not want to help with directions or simple request for pillows and blankets. Food was good. Not exceptional but you won’t starve. Being away from the crowds at the adjoining hotels was a plus but I am not sure it was worth double the price."

"This Rosewood in Baha Mar was a very disappointing experience. It did not deliver the 5 star experience and expectations of a Rosewood resort. We travel and stay only at luxury resorts and this resort was a disappointment. The food on the rosewood resort was mediocre at best and outrageously priced. The other restaurants on property were delicious. The hotel service and staff inside the hotel felt more like a courtyard or Hilton garden inn more than a 5-star service. The pool staff were incredible. Hands high for Teran who tried his best to turn the horrible service around. We spent more time trying to fix issues with management, than enjoying the resort property. The hotel itself is very pretty. The rooms are decent although nothing at 5-star level. Rooms are basic and we had to ask for everything that should already be inside the hotel. The room did not have robes, bath gel, shower caps, etc. The hotel was aware of our check in and check out times, b/c we booked hotel transfers through the hotel, but room wasn’t ready for hours. After many conversations, they offered a hospitality suite. There is no butler or greeters at resort for arrival. The rooms are $1000+ per night, which would be fine if the hotel delivered a 5-star experience hit it was more like 2-3 star level service. Room service took 2+ hours. Our airport transfer was booked through the hotel, the the car drives 3 minutes early on our outbound. The car the. Left. Nobody ever tried calling us to let us know but they charged us for the service. I would not recommend this hotel at all. . There are several nice resorts in and around paradise island and this does not meet expectations. This was a very disappointing stay. Than you to Teran and Ricardo for trying to fix the horrible experience, but it just wasn’t enough for all the negatives."

"Currently staying in Rosewood have experience with staying at other rosewood resort and different four seasons hotels Nothing is luxury here Very slow pool service,have to grab towels by myself most of the time For $25 salad to add a small protein like chicken or shrimp is another $23 Kids club members don’t even give your kid a smile when you drop them off so we used Hyatt kids club most of the time since our child didn’t even want to be at rosewood one Conditioner and lotion in the room is absolutely horrible and feels like it’s been watered down You can see consistency on the picture The only good part of the stay is water park that our kid got to enjoy"

"We have just returned from The Rosewood after 9 nights as a family of 7. This was our first time in the Bahamas however have stayed at Rosewood hotels in London and Europe. Unfortunately this resort doesn't have the usual edge that you would expect with a rosewood. The Bah Mar resort that’s connected to the rosewood really brings down the standards. The rooms themselves are lovely and clean with nice decor however they very average in attention to detail. No complimentary fresh fruit is provided in comparison to other 5 star hotels and they are slow at replenishing mini bar. The towels seem very budget they were very crispy and hard. The butlers that we had assigned to us were friendly and helpful and the WhatsApp system they use works well to keep you informed. The main complaint is the resort is incredibly expensive , beyond anything I have witnessed before. We travel to Dubai every year and it’s more expensive than there and standards are better… Every meal was between $300-600 and that was including 2 children eating free ! Even just some snacks from the resort shop is about $200 and 2 ice creams $60 ! The food is average and nothing to get excited about which is a shame considering the prices of the food. They also have no healthy options of food for children it’s all very much fried food there are no vegetables on any of the children’s menus which is disappointing. We didn’t have one meal that made us want to go back to the resteraunts they are all very average. The service around the Bah Mar resort is terrible mainly SLS all their servers in the shops are so grumpy and they treat you like you are inconvenience! The pool staff around the pool at rosewood were always friendly and helpful but service was slow at times. But otherwise no complaints however The pools are also quite dirty there was lots of mud and debris floating around in the pool. Overall it was a pleasant stay but for the price the resort charges I really wouldn’t return as there are much more luxury and value for money elsewhere."
