PB hotel design editorial

Avenue Louise is Brussels' most self-consciously elegant address, a boulevard that has always understood itself as a stage for aspiration, and Le Louise Hotel Brussels — MGallery's entry into this stretch of the city — plays that role with considerable composure. The seven-storey limestone facade, its upper floors capped by a slate mansard with arched dormers, slots into the avenue's nineteenth-century rhythm without pretending to share its age. The ground floor opens directly onto the Espace Louise retail complex, situating the hotel within the commercial pulse of the quartier rather than apart from it. Inside, the interiors navigate a quiet tension between mid-century warmth and a more contemporary organic sensibility. Guestrooms are anchored by full-height dark walnut headboard panels, their vertical grain interrupted by a stripe of chartreuse-toned fabric and lit by slim slot sconces in blackened steel — a palette of tobacco, moss green, and warm grey that feels considered without announcing itself. Curved boucle sofas in oatmeal sit beside sculptural pedestal side tables with turned bases, the overall effect closer to a well-edited Parisian apartment than a standard business hotel. The bar takes a different register entirely: cobalt velvet tub chairs clustered on a chevron-patterned floor beneath a circular coved ceiling, with a mirrored back bar etched in a diamond grid. The rear garden terrace — strung with tensile canopies and centred on a reflective sphere fountain — gives the property an unexpected urban outdoor room, rare for this part of Brussels.

"Rooms were beautiful, food was average, nothing special. My only complaint is the reception staff (only one person, Ronald, was rude and condescending and frankly insulting). Since it was a 5-star hotel, I let them know that I didn't need my room serviced and I was leaving my trash in the hallway so it could be collected and not an eyesore to the other guests. My thanks for this was being told how to use a do not disturb sign and that the trash would be collected (naturally) and NOT TO CONTACT the front desk. The rest of the staff was very courteous and polite. I travel to Brussels often and will return to Steigenberger, which is a great choice in Brussels."

"If you are looking for a Hotel with a great location that in 2026 is in the middle of current costs for a stay in Brussels then have I got a Hotel for you ! Oh and I forgot....... an establisment with great service and old fashioned Belgium charm, As an example I had a room arranged for me many hours before standard check in time by one of the lovely agents at reception. Excuse me for writing the name incorrectly but you will get the idea.lia Francioa not only arranged an early room for me on the first floor and facing a side street that was quiet did I just say quiet and great for actually getting some sleep. But insisted she carry my 2 bags to the Uber and put the bags in the trunk of the car. How often do you get service like that ? But this small Boutique Hotel has many people who use old world European charm to make your stay a memorable one. Yup this was a winner.Take my advice and book right now. There is a high probability that you will be happy with your experience. By the way the breakfast is included and they serve from 7-11 so you will have time to grab something. Also thank you to management for hiring people like Lia.And the rest of the staff. I will remember this stay you can bet on it."
