"Our stay at Le Germain Ottawa was excellent. From the moment we arrived until our departure, we felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated by the entire team. The service was exceptional throughout our stay, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and always greeted us with a warm smile. She took the time to introduce us to the hotel, explain the amenities and benefits, and recommend serveral restaurants for my son’s birthday celebration. Her thoughtful recommendations and genuine care helped make our family celebration even more memorable. We would also like to recognize Malak and Wassim for their outstanding hospitality and exceptional service. Their attentiveness, kindness, and dedication to ensuring guests have a great experience truly stood out. "Right from the check-in, my experience was professional and polished. I had some issues connecting to the Internet and when I called the front desk, they immediately helped solve the issue. I was there for four days since I was there on business and was working in the evenings I called room service. The food was outstanding and brought quickly to the room. The bedding and mattress were outstanding. Comfortable and luxurious. The amenities by Ruby Brown are also excellent. In the room they also had a Sonos radio to which you could connect your iPhone and listen to music. I found that an excellent amenity. It is located close to Rideau centre and the by Ward market. Within easy walking distance to the university where we had our conference. I would highly recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure. I look forward to returning."

"The room was spacious, well stocked and clean. Breakfast is quite limited (there’s no buffet so you have to order from a menu, which is quite small). The area is okay, although nearby ByWard Market is best avoided at night owing to crime."

"I stayed at Le Germain Ottawa 3 times in 2025. I first visited in May, and then again in June and September. All three stays were wonderful, and I was so pleased that I have booked a 2 night stay for this coming March. On my second stay I was upgraded to a suite and had an absolutely fabulous experience. The front desk was vey helpful and brought me a robe when requested and the late check out is so lovely and makes packing and going home so much easier. I was disappointed to see the Eggs Benedict had been removed from the breakfast menu for my stay in September, but the drinks ordered were wonderful. The rooms are always clean and while dark they are comfortable classy. The large concrete pole in the middle of my room in September was a surprise, so I was sure to book a prestige room this time to make sure to avoid that. I look forward to my next stay."
