"I liked the room and facility. It was a lovely stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The room was nice, had a little "monster" stuffy on the bed when I arrived. I was offered water at check-in. The check-in was smooth and when I needed a taxi they were happy to accommodate. I would stay again, and signed up for their rewards program. The location of the Paradox is convenient to shopping, dining, and other city amenities. The only issue when I arrived was not with the facility, but the taxi dropped me off at the wrong entrance. I mentioned it at the reception, and they let me know they would follow-up with this, which they did. I do appreciate the excellent service."

"We had two separate stays; one at the beginning of our trip in July and another at the end of our trip in late August. We liked the style of the hotel. Rooms were clean, modern and well maintained; bed was comfortable. Loved the Malin and Goetz toiletries. Its location was perfect for us as it was with walking distance of areas we wanted to visit and the rest we could uber to (plus there are easy public transport options). Even though it is on a main road and has a nightclub we found it very quiet though we were on higher floors both stays. We enjoyed the Karma Lounge on a number of nights for simple evening meals after days out exploring - loved the Spicy Volcano Rolls. There is a spa pool onsite outdoors and an inside pool (which is actually in the nightclub). Overall the staff we encountered were very helpful. We unfortunately overlooked we had breakfast included during our first stay and at the hotel check in advised us it would be $40pp but being jet lagged we just accepted this. On checking out we found out this was incorrect and after reaching out to the hotel they offered us breakfast for 1 day for our next stay. Breakfast is in Mott32 and is a buffet style with a choice of hot dish. We enjoyed it. We would definitely choose Paradox for a future visit."

"We have stayed in Vancouver a few times but this is our first stay at Paradox Hotel in Vancouver. Saksham, who checked us in, was very friendly and helpful. We have a lovely Signature Paradox King Room with balcony and we were very impressed with the room. It is spacious and quite modern. The air conditioning works well (a must for us as we hate hot rooms). The bed is very comfortable. Our room also has a bath. We loved it so much, I went to see Saksham to book another three nights at the end of our trip (in October) before we fly back to Melbourne, Australia."

Boasting modern rooms overly generous in both size and sophistication, guests have at their disposal all that is necessary for an incredibly comfortable, luxurious stay. All aspects of the room have been meticulously well thought out - from the electronic controls for lights, blinds and privacy, to the provision of umbrellas, bottled water and bath salt for the grandiose bathtub. Guest comfort is quite clearly front-and-centre here. Disguised by an entry point along an unglamorous back-alleyway lies the upscale lobby of the hotel. As one of Vancouver’s taller buildings, grandeur is a premise that describes almost every aspect of the hotel itself. Boasting an indoor pool and spa, and a well quipped gym, Paradox Vancouver offers guests all facilities that ensure a productive and comfortable stay, blended with the convenience of impressive room service, ATMs scattered throughout, and a virtual minibar available via the in-room TV. Although a relatively large hotel with only two lifts, I didn’t find myself waiting for one for any extended periods, and there never appeared to be queues waiting to use them. The rooms are generously sized, and decorated wjth a modern class and sophistication. The bed is large and comfortable, providing a comfortable night of sleep. Room controls can be found on a central touchscreen (main control) or on the bedside tables, allowing control of the blinds and curtains and lights. Privacy controls and air conditioning are also adjustable via the main touchscreen panel. In line with the “above and beyond” mentality of this hotel is an in-room iPad made available to guests on the bedside table, and welcoming them upon arrival an optional handmade toy available for purchase on the bed. For guest comfort, robes and slippers are provided, as well as an umbrella that can be used (and purchased to keep, if desired) and the hotel makes available a range of complimentary teas and a capsule coffee machine (although I will note that the milk provided is awful, and creates an almost nut-flavoured quality to coffee or tea brewed). Beyond the decent range of channels provided on the in-room TV, it also acts as a useful guest guide, from which minibar items and room service can be ordered, as well as on-demand movies for a fee. The design of the room is that of an open bathroom area, with a large bathtub featured in the centre of the room. Perhaps not ideal for families, there lacks no separation of shower and bathtub from the room itself, meaning there exists no privacy when bathing. The vanity and basin also opens into the open bathroom area, however the toilet is separated into a small room of its own. For guest use, shampoo, conditioner and body wash by Malin+Goetz is provided, and a small jar of bath salts (and pair of rubber ducklings) is made available for use. All staff I encountered throughout my stay were friendly, professional and helpful. Due to a late flight out, I requested for my bags to be held at reception and use of the locker room showers by the pool on level 3 prior to my departure, which was welcomed by the staff at the front desk. Overall, my stay at Paradox Vancouver was perhaps the most comfortable and enjoyable experience I had of all the hotels on my trip around the world - by quite some way!y future travels will see to me revisiting Vancouver, and when I do, Paradox Hotel will be the only accommodation in which I will choose to stay, without question."
