The thing that really stood out to us was how tailored the experience was, and how everyone went out of their way to make us feel so very welcome, and appreciated as guests; from the moment we stepped into the lobby. We are beyond grateful to you all. Rita was the very first person to make an impression. She made checking in, after a long flight, so effortless, which is an important thing to consider when searching for a hotel. Rita and her team had planned some lovely surprises for us as it was our 12th Wedding Anniversary. We really appreciated and enjoyed every single surprise, thank you. We extend a heartfelt, extra special thank you to Kristi in the Executive Lounge for being our absolute favourite person who we have ever met, and dealt with, in all of our travels across the world. Kristi, you are incredibly special, and we will never forget our time at The Conrad because of you. Your attention to detail, your personable approach, along with your bubbly personality, are a combination that is very hard to beat! An example of Kristi going above and beyond is the way that she liaised with housekeeping and others across the hotel. Through getting to know us in the Executive Lounge, she knew our preferences for our room. Kristi ensured that our room was the perfect temperature for us, that we had all the towels that we liked, and even remembered that we enjoy extra pillows. When we came back for our second stay, everything was already set up for us for us to settle in and be super comfortable again. The team that support Kristi in the Executive Lounge was also extremely attentive, incredibly helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure that we had everything we could possibly need. They helped choose tables we liked that had a beautiful view of Canton Tower and the Pearl River, they ensured our food always arrived at the same time, and they were happy to help with anything that we needed. We felt most welcome on each and every visit to the lounge, and the way that we were greeted when we came back from Hong Kong, made us feel so very special. The Conrad Hotel can only be described as magnificent and luxurious! The views from both our rooms were second to none. We could gaze out and watch the Canton Tower light show for hours and hours; it really was dreamy. Every part of our corner room had these incredible views, from the bed, from the bath, and from the lounge area. It is now our favourite hotel, and we cannot wait to come back and stay again. The housekeeping team keeps the hotel exceptionally clean, and we were really impressed with how consistent they were. Our room was kept immaculate, and if we ever needed something, they were at our door in a few minutes. Our fridge was always fully stocked, and our in room ammenties were always topped up. So many hotels forget all the little things, which make a big difference and are noticed by guests. The Conrad team miss nothing! Our bed, well - let’s just say that we have not had the same level of sleep since coming home. We are also truly grateful to the Concierge Team, particularly Andy, who was really helpful and again went out of his way to help us with anything at all. In particular, communicating with our Didi drivers and helping with our luggage. An extra special shout out to Cynthia from front office, who we had the pleasure of meeting in person, and communicating with through many emails. She helped to ensure that our special vacation was everything we dreamed of, and her communication skills are to be commended. Cythnia is a huge asset to the team, and we thank you so very much. Our time at The Conrad is such a precious memory, and we have been telling everyone about what an extraordinary hotel it is. Although we left a couple of weeks ago, we are missing everyone, our room, and our magnificent view, every single day. "The hotel has a good hard product and an excellent location, with the added convenience of being directly connected to a very mall. Unfortunately, the overall experience falls short in several areas. The breakfast area is small, overcrowded, and poorly ventilated, making it uncomfortable. The room had a noticeable damp smell. Additionally, there was no recognition of loyalty/status, which was disappointing. Overall, good potential, but service and attention to guest experience need improvement."

"Conrad Guangzhou is one of the best hotels in Guangzhou. The room rates are relatively high but so worth paying. Our entire stay of 3 days went smoothly and pleasantly. Check-in was easy although our room was not yet ready until late afternoon. The room itself is very spacious and well laid out. The automatic toilet seat was unexpected but very cool. They even had evening turndown service. Great views to look out to Canton Tower. The best part was dining at Sense Restaurant on the 2nd floor. We went there for dinner and were greeted by Molly Mo as the restaurant staff. She was professional, polite, knowledgeable and extremely helpful during our entire dining session. We were blown away by her amazing services. To top it up, we were served again by Molly during our 2 days of breakfast. Our sincere thanks to Molly. She is truly wonderful! We will definitely come back and stay at Conrad Guangzhou in the future."
