From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by staff members whose genuine friendliness and attentiveness made us feel immediately at ease—less like guests at a resort and more like friends visiting a beautiful home. Manager Ms. Hu Jin and Sisse, who kindly provided us with a detailed and thoughtful introduction to the resort. Their explanation of the resort’s philosophy, along with the stories behind each carefully curated decorative element, added great depth and meaning to our stay and allowed us to truly appreciate the spirit of the property. Our arrival experience was equally memorable. Mr. Xu (胥师傅) met us at the train station and personally drove us to the resort, offering a seamless and comfortable transition that set a wonderful tone for the rest of our visit. We also thoroughly enjoyed the handcrafted bead workshop (串藏珠) led by Ann, Audrey, and Kary. Their professionalism, patience, and creativity made the session both engaging and relaxing, and it was clear how passionate they were about sharing this experience. In addition, Daniel and his colleague’s introduction to the Activity Centre was informative and welcoming, helping us make the most of the facilities available. "If you are city stressors looking for a more reflective lifestyle away from the noise and fast pace of urban life, Rissai Valley is the best choice for you in China. I have a short stay at this beautiful valley at Jiuzhaigou from 16-20 SEP 2025, in which I found peace and quiet, returned back to a slower pace, re-established a deeper connection with nature and a genuine social connection with the Tibetan locals. I have to thank Ritz-Carlton Reserve assigning Jasmine as my butler during my stay, not only because of her meticulousness, but also for her genuineness in sharing her life with us. If you try to stay at Rissai Valley, you will understand why I didn't visit the famous Jiuzhaigou scenic interested area during my stay which is only 20 mins drive away from the hotel. I was fully satisfied with the overall beautiful and peaceful environment in nature, the cleaner air, the considerate services, the thoughtful activities and the connection to the grounded way of life rooted in strong Tibetan traditional values."
