"We were unbelievably spoiled and exceptionally well cared for during our third stay here. Sofitel Sanya has officially become our home away from home in Sanya! Reservation Our wonderful experience started even before arrival. Traveling as two families with four adults and five children (ages 7–16), we received excellent advice from Room Manager Roy, who quickly understood our needs and recommended the best room options with great value. His communication was always professional, informative, and friendly. The moment we entered our spacious family suites with breathtaking sea views, we knew another unforgettable vacation had begun. Butler Service Roy connected us with our amazing butler, Nikki, who looked after every detail throughout our stay. Whether it was restaurant and spa reservations, family activities, late check-out, or special requests, nothing was ever too much trouble. When our friends were told they couldn’t purchase the hotel’s bathrobes, one message to Nikki was all it took. Two brand-new bathrobes were packed and delivered to their room. Food and beverage Breakfast at Restaurant Cuisine continues to impress with its wide selection, and we especially enjoyed the new additions, including homemade granola and freshly made wontons. The BBQ dinner buffet now offers even better value while maintaining its excellent quality The staff made every meal even more memorable. Ruby arranged my son’s favorite baked potato with cheese from our previous visit, while Chef Carl personally served it during the BBQ dinner, bringing back wonderful family memories. Mike thoughtfully arranged coffee and drinks for us before 7 a.m. without us asking, so we could watch an early football match before the lobby bar opened. Erica greeted us every morning with a smile, remembered our coffee preferences, and always kept our table spotless. Seeing her each morning became one of the highlights of breakfast! The Thai restaurant is outstanding and I could eat here everyday! We enjoyed the interactive demonstration by the chef and thoughtful details such as a handwritten welcome in Thai on a leaf, which I kept as a bookmark. For quick meals, the Noodle House was perfect. Chef Tom, Tony, and Carol were incredibly welcoming, and our children especially adored Chef Tom, who cheered them on during their pickleball games. Recreation The recreation facilities are outstanding and kept our children entertained throughout our stay. We enjoyed go-karts, VR games, billiards, pickleball, kayaking, KTV, table tennis, arts and crafts, baking classes. There is a weekly schedule with many complimentary daily activities as well. We never needed to leave the resort, which also gave us parents time to unwind at the spa. The pools are equally impressive. The main pool, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, never felt crowded and offered plenty of shade, while the infinity pool was another family favorite. The kids especially loved the afternoon flying carpet activity. What truly sets Sofitel apart is its recreation team. Danny surprised us with a handwritten welcome card and framed photos of our children from our previous visit—a gesture that truly touched us. It was wonderful seeing familiar faces like Sara and Flora again, who welcomed our children like old friends. Sara even looked after our youngest during the evening show so we could enjoy dinner. Her genuine care and warmth is simply exceptional. Last but not the least, we would like to extend our thanks to Aifen and Jacky. Just when we thought we might be disappointed after two earlier unbeatable stays at Sofitel Sanya, Sofitel team has ONCE AGAIN delivered top notch service with countless thoughtful personal touches and surprises! "⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the best resorts we have ever stayed at Our stay at Sofitel Sanya was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations in every way. The resort is beautifully designed, exceptionally well maintained, and feels like a complete destination rather than just a hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warmth, professionalism, and constant willingness to help. They truly go out of their way to make everything happen for their guests, always with a smile. A special and sincere thank you to Victor, the manager, who went above and beyond to make our New Year’s celebration unforgettable. He personally arranged a special table on the beach for New Year’s Eve, creating a memorable and meaningful experience for our family that we will never forget. We were also very grateful for the thoughtful room arrangements and upgrades. My wife and I stayed in a spacious and elegant suite, while our children were initially accommodated in a king room and later upgraded to a family room. The comfort, cleanliness, and layout were perfect for a family stay. The food was beyond expectations, with excellent quality, variety, and presentation across all dining options. The service throughout the resort was outstanding, and the daily activities, kids’ programs, and evening entertainment made the experience even more enjoyable.
