"My stay at The Shanghai EDITION was simply outstanding from start to finish. The welcome was warm and professional, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. Every detail reflected the high standards of the hotel, from the quality of the amenities to the stunning city views. The location couldn't be better. Being right on East Nanjing Road made it incredibly convenient for shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing, while The Bund was only a short walk away. The facilities were excellent, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was elegant, modern, and relaxing. "The location is prime - right on Nanjing Road. There are very limited number of hotels in this area which mainly are Fairmont Peach and The Edition. Depending on the hotel styles you prefer. Fairmont, offering a unique historic, heritage vibe, is just right on the main street in front of Pearl Tower. The Edition, offering a brand-new Edition vibe, right on the Nanjing Road - a 5-10 minute walk to see the Pearl. My recent stay is in the corner city view room, where I can clearly see Shanghai's Pearl Tower skyline right from the desk and the bed. But I do believe the room size and layout are very vary in this hotel building as transforming from the preserved building zone. Room is super clean, well equipped with amenities you may think of in a 5-star hotel including Dyson hair dryer. Bed is comfy. Lighting is pleasure. Air condition, shower water pressure, and shower temperature are as you controlled. Adapters by the bed and by the desk are well thought. It is also quiet in the room and by the guestroom corridor. Breakfast butter is mainly to order a-la-carte style for hot dishes, with line buffet for the sides and cold items. Price is one of the highest in the area. But I feel that you get what you pay for this hotel."
