On the evening of January 9, we left the room to take photos and did not take any cash with us. After only half an hour, the 4,000 RMB in wedding gift cash had become 3,000 RMB — 1,000 RMB in cash had mysteriously disappeared. The number of points offered as compensation is insufficient and does not adequately cover the loss incurred. Therefore, I cannot accept this proposal and kindly request that you increase the number of points provided."

"During my stay at Alila Hotel, my family and I had a very pleasant time celebrating my master’s graduation trip. The duty manager and the staff provided excellent service. When they learned that three of us were staying in the room, they thoughtfully added an extra bed for us. They also prepared a welcome gift, and what surprised me the most was the delicious mung bean dessert served in the evening, which made me feel truly delighted."

"We were very looking forward to our stay at Alila Dong’ao island. Overall the service was good, the food was good and the kids club was lovely. However we did expect a bit more from Alila. Prior to our arrival, we confirmed with the hotel that we would be staying with our two kids (5&6) and ask for additional beds to be set up in the room. When we arrived, we only had one bed set up and the guest service agent initially refused to set up a second bed but eventually could not explain the reason behind the refusal and agreed to set up the sending bed. The lifeguards at the pool were often on their phone which made us nervous for our little ones. On the plus side, the F&B team delivered amazing breakfast and lunch experience. All restaurant staff were kind, professional and easy to talk to. The lady at the kids club was lovely and so helpful as well. Overall, we were impressed by the idea of Alila Dong’ao but felt a bit disappointed. Maybe our expectation was too high?"
