"We had a great stay at Amor Arenal. The food and the amenities are great – the Casitas are just fantastic. Special shout out to Rosbing for the guided hike on site. He did a fantastic job of explaining the different animals in the area, and he was amazing at spotting and finding sloths, frogs, monkeys, and other birds. He went out of his way to be sure we weren’t able to see the different animals. We never would’ve seen those without his expert guidance."

"From the beginning of our trip, the concierge service was so helpful and accommodating. They arranged a shuttle to pick us up from our last hotel and also arranged shuttle services for other excursions. All the staff were so kind and knowledgeable and helpful during our stay if they saw an animal on the property. They’d make sure to point it out for our enjoyment. The rooms were amazing just as photographed online. Couldn’t ask for anything better. I love how we could hear the rainforest as we went to bed and as we woke up! Truly a magical relaxing experience. The gym was clean and well equipped with all the things we needed, and they provided weights in the yoga mat in the room if we wanted to work out in our room. The spa service was absolutely amazing and at a great price! The masseuses are very talented and having a spa experience with the sounds of the jungle is absolutely one of a kind. This is truly been my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They pay attention to detail from the in house bakery to providing mosquito repellent if you need. Laundry service available as well. Here is where luxury meets nature. And hospitality is at its best! Not to mention the trails within the property are truly amazing. We will be back for sure! Pura Vida! Thank you so much! "Attending a wedding at Amor Arenal was truly one of the most incredible travel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt luxurious, peaceful, and thoughtfully curated. The villas were absolutely stunning. Waking up to breathtaking views of the Arenal Volcano right from our private porch felt unreal. The resort is tucked into the jungle, so everywhere you look is lush, vibrant, and beautifully maintained. One of my favorite moments was simply relaxing and listening to the rain hit the tin roof. It was unbelievably serene. Our villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and stocked with every comfort you could think of including robes, slippers, toiletries, and a mini bar. The walk-in shower and private hot tub made it feel like a true luxury retreat, and the AC worked perfectly after long days exploring Costa Rica. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, genuine, attentive, and incredibly kind. They somehow knew every guest by name and constantly anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask. You could tell they genuinely cared about creating a special experience. One of the coolest moments was when staff members stopped our golf cart to point out sloths in the trees. That level of hospitality and excitement made the stay feel so personal and memorable. The service at Amor Arenal is the kind of hospitality other resorts should aspire to. The resort hosted our meals throughout the wedding weekend, and every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was excellent. The food felt authentic and gave us a real taste of Costa Rican cuisine, especially staples like traditional rice and beans. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Although I didn’t personally attend the spa services or yoga classes, many people in our group did and had amazing things to say about both. The wedding reception and event spaces were also absolutely beautiful and perfectly matched the natural surroundings of the resort. Every detail felt elevated without losing the magic of being immersed in nature. I genuinely cannot say enough wonderful things about Amor Arenal. Between the incredible views, luxurious accommodations, outstanding food, and some of the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced, it was an unforgettable stay. If you’re looking for a luxury jungle resort experience in Costa Rica, this place is truly special."

"This was such a superb place to stay. Staff were warm and welcoming, genuinely wanting us to get the most from our experience at Amor and in the area. Our casita was beautifully serene and totally private with a terrace and plunge pool with views straight towards the volcano. The hotel is in a private reserve within the rainforest, yet access to the hanging bridges tours and wildlife walks, plus the town of Arenal are close by. Don't miss the meditation area - the view across the enormous ravine is captivating. I really didn't want to leave this place."
