"We had such an amazing and relaxing time at W. Hotel overlooks the beach with beautiful views. The rooms were so clean everyday considering our room overlooked a jungle with monkeys! Our room was private and quiet. Anything we needed, concierge brough it to us. It was an unforgettable trip with great service."

"This is a truly exceptional place, with a stunning beach, intimate feeling, amazing service, and great location. It is all a truly five-star experience. We went with a large family group so needed a reliable hotel that could be accommodating to our different ages - but wanted to make sure to not go to a giant, impersonal resort. The W was perfect. It is on a large property with plenty of room, but is an exclusive place where ALL the staff get to know your name. We felt very special and taken care of, and that made everything that much more relaxing. On a private reserve development, it is secluded, but easy to reach from the Liberia airport, and close to a ton of activities. But what we most liked, is that after returning from the morning activities we could head to the beautiful beach club exclusively for W guests, with a great restaurant, beach service, a lovely pool, and a magnificent beach with crystal clear waters. Many of our group stayed by the beach many of the days and were very happy with the paddle boards, kayaks, and perfect ocean. The hotel rooms were very large, and one of our group got a suite with a small pool right on the balcony. But all the rooms were great and had views of the jungle and beyond. The hotel buildings and lobby are all located on a cliff above the ocean, and there is a path to the beach club that one can be walk, or be taken by in a golf cart. There is also a chill adult pool near the lobby, with a view over the cliff. We have been to other W resorts where the whole party vibe thing was exaggerated. This is not the case here. They have chill DJs playing music occasionally throughout the property in the afternoons, but it is all relaxing, upbeat, and classy. The breakfast buffet is top-notch, with excellent fruits, traditional buffet items, and Costa Rican specialties. The other food was also of excellent quality, with the beach club lunch being particularly noteworthy. We also enjoyed dinner at the fine-dining restaurant and had an amazing time. The food was extremely good and inventive, and it was really worth it. But really the best thing about this place is the staff. Everyone, from valets, to wait-staff, to management, are just awesome. They are bright, understanding of needs, and speak great Spanish and English. The atmosphere is relaxed elegance, and everyone really executes this perfectly. Congratulations to the management team for being able to achieve this so well. Of note, Ayeisha the "W Insider" goes around the hotel ensuring everyone is happy. Her level of care and attention allowed us to have an excellent stay. Mijail the restaurant manager made sure all our meals were amazing. He would actually come around and check that everything was to our liking. Where else offers this level of care? Maria at the main restaurant made sure we were seated comfortably as a group to watch one of the world cup games, and they offered extra bar bites during the game. Stephanie made sure all the room accommodations worked for our group. Just awesome. Don't miss this place. It is hard to find anything at this level on the CR coast - or anywhere, really. There was actually nothing we did not like about our stay, and we look forward to going back."

"Had a 4-night stay in a corner suite with plunge pool. The highlight of the stay was the spacious room with balcony and amazing view giving access to sunrises. Remember to pack your body insect repellent as the mosquitoes were aggressive especially down at the beach. The app was also useful for checking activity schedules and reserving restaurants. I did all-inclusive but if I were to go back probably would not. A huge downside was that you could get to the beach and get set up for a lovely view but a later guest could just tip and get set up in front of you obstructing your view. This was extremely annoying. They should just set up the chairs and have it first-come-first serve. Entitled latecomers shouldn’t just set up shop rudely in front of others. Pros: - Great food - Excellent concierge - Attentive restaurant service - Strong A/C in room - Buggy to get to beach - Beautiful beach Cons - resort is far from local areas - obstructed beach views - late start to service at the beach - slow service at the beach"

"Our 9-night honeymoon at the W Costa Rica Reserva Conchal was more than we could have imagined. The resort is beautiful, but what makes this place truly special is the people. Every person we met was kind, genuine, and proud of the work they do. Every recommendation, conversation, and thoughtful gesture showed how much they cared about making our stay special. We arrived as guests and left feeling like we were saying goodbye to friends. We were fortunate to spend the most time with Dorian, Leo, Gerardo, Ivonne, Erick, MJ, and Aaron, all very skilled professionals. Leo and Dorian both made every dinner at Cocina de Mercado special. They took the time to explain each dish, recommend pairings, and make every meal feel personal. They even surprised us with a thoughtful honeymoon gift during our final meal. Ivonne and Gerardo made each breakfast feel welcoming by remembering our coffee orders and the sauces and sides we enjoyed. Erick provided wonderful service at Zona Azul, always sharing thoughtful recommendations and even helping Coral when a bug landed on her. He also surprised us with a special treat during our final lunch. MJ greeted us warmly every day, asked about our plans, and even helped arrange our return golf cart while we were finishing dinner. Aaron made our beach days unforgettable by remembering our favorite drinks, sharing recommendations for Guanacaste, Tamarindo, and Brasilito, and adding special touches that made our honeymoon even better. We also want to recognize Claudia, Daniel, Fernando, and Pia at the front desk for their kindness and help throughout our stay. Orlando, Jordi, Kendall, Melissa, Elizabeth, and Daniella provided wonderful service throughout the restaurants. Elman and Jairo made our visits to the Living Room Bar memorable, and Roberth provided excellent service at Latitude 10. Every one of them helped make our honeymoon unforgettable. The food was incredible, the property is stunning, and the housekeeping and golf cart teams were always friendly and professional. Every person we interacted with contributed to making this trip so special, and every gratuity we gave was truly deserved. "We had an amazing stay at the W Reserva Conchal! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality and outstanding service. The resort is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are modern, spacious, and well-appointed, and every detail makes for a relaxing luxury experience. We stayed in room 3402, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up each morning to that incredible scenery was one of the highlights of our trip. While we were there, we booked our excursions through Conchal Fun, and those adventures created unforgettable memories.
