Upon arrival we were surprised by a bouquet of flowers in our room with champagne and a personal message about wishing us all the best. At dinner we were escorted to a table with another beautiful bouquet of flowers, also got complimentary desserts and our waiter paid attention to our needs with professionalism. Not to mention the beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfast and comfortable room we had. We’re thankful for the special attention and comfort during our stay."

"We just finished a 3 night stay at the San Canzian in Buje. This is our fourth hotel while in Croatia and by far the best. The hotel is lovely and situated in a very quiet location with all the amenities you would expect. The grounds are immaculately maintained and the buildings while new and modern are designed to blend in with the surroundings. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the countryside where we could enjoy the sunrise every morning. We had dinner one night in Luciano the hotel restaurant, food was wonderful, 5 star dining but a bit pricy. They have an extensive wine list that highlights Croatian wines but also incudes wines from around the world, especially Italian wines. We also ate several nights in the lounge, with a lighter more casual menu and a delightful fire every evening. Nedi our bartender couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating, and really help make it a wonderful experience. Breakfast was more than ample consisting of a cold buffet with meats, cheeses and bread as well as a menu for ordering hot entrees. Filip, our waiter, was not only efficient and accommodating but had a wonderful sense of humor and make breakfast a fun experience. I can’t say enough about the facilities or the staff and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the Istria region."
