PB hotel design editorial

Two adjacent Baroque and neo-Baroque buildings on Vladislavova Street, a short walk from Wenceslas Square, give BoHo Prague Hotel its structural bones — cream stuccoed facades with dark-painted ironwork cartouches and deep-set windows that belong entirely to the city's layered architectural inheritance. The ground-floor shopfront, dressed in oxblood-lacquered timber with large plate-glass panels, bridges that historical envelope and the contemporary interior behind it, a transition that sets the hotel's central design argument: that Old Town Prague and a spare, precisely detailed modernism can share the same address without either apologizing to the other. Inside, Portuguese design studio Nini Andrade Silva resolved that tension through a palette of pale oak flooring, dove-grey upholstery, and dark steel framing that runs consistently from the bar — where pendant cylinders in blackened metal drop above a grey marble counter — through to the 53 guestrooms, where glass-partitioned bathrooms with gold mosaic tile catch the light against otherwise restrained, neutral surrounds. The restaurant's retained arched windows and industrial steel louvre ceiling introduce an entirely different register, raw and lofted, anchored by a Calacatta marble island at the room's centre. Throughout, the effect is of contemporary European hotel design applied with genuine editorial discipline rather than the reflexive heritage pastiche that Prague's Old Town too often produces.

"My daughter and I stayed here 7 nights last week. We had originally planned to spend 4 nights here and then move to a different location in the city to stay for the remainder of our visit. This hotel and location were so perfect we decided to stay here the whole week. Room was modern and very comfortable. I will note, the bathroom is glass walls so I don’t think this would be ideal if you’re staying with someone you are not very comfortable with. The staff was very helpful with recommendations, suggestions and making reservations. We both had great massages and enjoyed the saunas. The hotel was gracious and did not charge for our first night when our flight leaving the states was cancelled and we arrived a day later. I will definitely be staying here on our next visit."

"Staying here for a long anniversary weekend, we chose this hotel as it parts of the Small luxury hotels collection . Upon arrival warm greeting and an offering of a local glass of wine, the Czech white wine was amazing . The barman Egor was amazing , on hand for a chat and full of advice about where to eat & visit . He really made a great start to our break before we’d even seen the room. We stayed in a standard double , a good size , modern and well appointed. A cool design with the shower in a glass box making the room feel lighter and more spacious . An extra bonus in the hotel is the fabulous and seemingly never busy spa area . Equipped with a sauna , steam room small pool and gym. Location of the hotel is perfect , close enough to walk into the old town 10min max , but far enough away to not be disturbed . On a Saturday and Wednesday the hotel offer a free walking tour , a good 3 hour tour of the city . We stayed for the full 3 hours as the guide was fantastic . Although you can leave if you so wish to. A fantastic hotel in a beautiful city"
