"Wonderful building. Good staff, small rooms for the price. Not well located. Except for Tavoli it's about a 30 min. walk to all the sites. Very clean except for the hallway carpets that need a deep cleaning or replacement. Good breakfast and they do a good job accommodating large numbers. Close to train station."

"Beautiful hotel and great ambience in the lobby and bar. There is no parking or stopping in front of the hotel so you must schlep your luggage across the street to the hotel entrance - rain or shine. We booked a “superior room” for 4 nights. It took over an hour for us to get our luggage delivered to our room. Aside from 4 drawers there are no shelves in the room to put your “stuff”. The bathroom sink is so small and again, no space for cosmetics. The “turn down” service is a bottle of water. If you ask for more water in a carafe, you are told to use the tap water from the sink. There is no artwork on walls of hallway or room (maybe this is the “culture”). Housekeeping service is not consistent -you may get new drinking glasses - you may not. Same with towels. Breakfast was good, great selections. Staff was nice and friendly. Overall appearance of hotel was clean. I do not know if I would stay here again."

"The staff was wonderful, the rooms were good sized, but the night tables were too small to be very useful. The bathroom sink was the second smallest sink I have ever seen in a hotel room, and no counter space. The location was convenient, and walkable, the restaurant was great with some of the best pastries I have ever had. The rugs in the room were a bit of a tripping hazard, as the corners curled up. The price was reasonable."

"Lovely experience staying at Villa Copenhagen. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. Every staff member is so kind and the hotel is incredibly clean. The rooftop pool (and sauna) is awesome. Everyone wears the robes and flip flops provided and it is a great vibe. During the week it’s a lot of business folks and there are couples and families on the weekend. Highly recommend if coming in from out of town. As a solo traveler, was easy to meet and connect with other guests at the property. Don’t sleep on the breakfast — only con is that it is SO much food you’ll need to balance to enjoy all of Copenhagen’s fantastic food scene. They serve every pastry from Rug bakery so save your taste tests for the breakfast :) (and green smoothies are available to balance out the pastries). Will certainly book Villa Copenhagen the next time I’m in town."

"A very beautiful hotel: a modern, spotlessly clean building just a short walk from the station. Breakfast is excellent — the omelette station and the bakery selection were the highlights, everything fresh and genuinely good, and the rest of the food is of a good standard too. The gym is small but well equipped, and the pool is very pleasant (the water could perhaps be a little warmer). What I appreciated less was how many services come at an extra cost: early check-in, late check-out, turndown service. In a hotel where you spend thousands of kroner a night, you expect a more generous welcome. If a late check-out is just an hour or two and causes no disruption, it should be offered free of charge; if turndown service can be guaranteed, it should simply be provided — otherwise it shouldn't be offered at all. It feels as though every opportunity is used to charge a bit more. To be clear, the stay was very good, but more care for the guest is needed. The staff are very young and could be warmer."
