"The rooms are visually appealing and well designed, but signs of wear and insufficient maintenance are clearly visible. The corridor and room walls were covered with long scuff marks, and in our room there were even areas where the paint was missing. This noticeably detracts from the impression of a hotel in this category. We were also surprised to learn upon arrival that breakfast was not included in our reservation. Although the matter was resolved with the front desk, the information was not passed on to the breakfast service. The following morning, the restaurant staff made it clear that we were not entitled to breakfast, which left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. At €37 per person, the breakfast was a major disappointment and far below expectations. Coffee was available only from a machine and was of poor quality, the porridge was cold, and the pre-cut vegetables and fruit appeared dried out and not freshly prepared. The buffet selection and presentation did not reflect the standards one would expect from a highly rated hotel. In addition, tables were not cleared proactively, and we had to move to another table to have space to eat. Overall, the breakfast service seemed poorly coordinated, and there was no clear attention to quality or guest experience. We hope this feedback helps improve both maintenance and service standards going forward"

"My wife and I very much enjoyed this hotel. It is centrally located in Helsinki making walking tours of tourist sights, as well as close by connections to ferry to the fortress island and trams for further tourist locations. The room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant had excellent meals for our group tour's breakfasts and dinners. The front desk staff were all very helpful, friendly, and courteous. We highly recommend this hotel."

"Beautiful stay, the rooms were spacious, and unique, fabulous bathroom with separate shower and bath which I love. This has got to be the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, it was immaculate! Every thing was spotless, plenty of storage space, safety deposit box, nice toiletries, cutest towels, tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were warm and welcoming, especially at reception. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food, with delicious pastries, pecan plat was divine! I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Helsinki in a few months."

"No restaurant or room service on Sunday evening, restaurant menu is worst and shortest I have ever seen, 50 euros for a burger, highest status with Bonvoy and late checkout is limited, very noisy from the streets. Stay at the Crown Plaza."

"Great location with excellent conditions. Rooms are adequate size and clean. Highlights to their buffet breakfast with lots of varieties. We arrived very early in the morning and requested if early check in at around noon is possible (hotel check in time is 3pm). Henna from the front desk was very helpful, seeing that we were traveling with a small one, she was trying her best to get us our room around 1pm."
