"I loved staying at the 1932 Hotel & Spa. It was like a sanctuary. Everything was impeccable - the decor, the cleanliness, the service. The location is perfect for being able to easily walk around town. The rooftop terrace offers an exquisite view. We spent time there enjoying drinks, lunch and being outside. Having the overnight hotel parking is a big plus. My room was small so next time I'll ask for a larger room. I'd love to return."

"I don't write reviews as often as I should, but I felt compelled to in this case. I had such a terrible experience at The 1932 Hotel & Spa Cap D' Antibes and I want to make others aware. I prepaid for a room for two nights at this hotel May 26- May 28, 2026 that what was described as a 'spectacular' ocean front view room. I received a call the day before my arrival offering to upgrade me to a jr. suite on the first floor of the hotel for an additional 300 euros. Well, first of all, in my experience, an upgrade does not usually include an additional cost- that's why it is called an upgrade. The ocean front view was on a higher level floor. I initially agreed to the upgrade- I admit that. I didn't understand the person's accent very well. I called the hotel back within 30 minutes, once I had a chance to think about it. I explained that I wanted to keep my original room because I really wanted to ocean view and I didn't think paying an additional 300 euros was an upgrade, after I'd had time to think about it. The hotel clerk said she understood and would make the change back to my original room. I received an email confirmation that I had the original room again. When I arrived at the hotel, they did not have me in the ocean view room. They had moved me to the jr. suite on the first floor and wanted me to sign to pay for the additional 300 euros. I then went back and forth with the managers. Several managers got involved and basically argued with me and gave me different explanations as to why they could not put me back in my original room. Finally, they agreed to put me in a room that was the 'same type' as what I had booked. I got to the room, and it had a view of construction work being done. The room smelled like mildew and wetness. There were several dead bugs on the floors and the back of the guestroom door was dirty with dark stains. It was absolutely disgusting. I went downstairs to complain, and the manager was extremely cold. She was not empathetic. Did not offer to do anything at all.... certainly not move me to another room. Because we had a lot of plans over the next couple of days, my husband convinced me to just deal with it; we wouldn't be spending very much time in the hotel after all, he said. In addition, we were never told about the hotel amenities, they do not offer guests anything upon arrival, they did not offer their concierge services. It was just poor service all around. I would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances- it was a very bad experience."

"A very nice trip along the seaside. Takes about 1,5 hours. The path is somehow narrow at certain passages and with many stairs. Be sure to take good footwear. Beautiful scenery along this path called " Le chemin des douaniers". Starts at Plage de la Garoupe. Good parkings there. Stop for a visit of Villa Eileen if the villa is open that day."

"We just came back from our 3rd stay at the 1932 Hotel & Spa in only one year - and we came back with the impressions, that we came as strangers, became friends and this time already came back almost as "family" as we so much felt at home at this beautiful property! The hotel made an incredible effort to present our 12-year-old son, who is a big fan of the hotel, a very individual and personal welcome suprise, which totally overwhelmed us! The hotel that originally was built in 1932 has been carefully restaurated by the new owner, maintaining its very special Art Déco boutique style. The rooms, especially 406-409 have had the most amazing view over the bay as always, only to be topped by the incredible rooftop terrace that hosts a small pool, sunloungers, a bar and a restaurant during the summer months. The view from up there is just incredible! Meals in the restaurant and the breakfast have been equally very good and the service was very attentive. The entire team made us feel totall at home, and especially the GM Alexander Gelegs took every opportunity to make our stay very memorable. We well be back for sure!"
