Special mention to the pool - very relaxing - the beach club - a must to experience! - and the huge gym! Having visited the beautiful Cote d’Azur previously, I have always been attracted by the grandeur of this iconic palatial Belle Epoque styled building. This year I could no longer resist booking a stay to enjoy the Carlton Hotel from inside. As soon as we approached the eagerly awaiting doormen ran over to take our bags… we weren’t even on the hotel grounds yet… and were welcomed by name, how amazing was this !? We were escorted in to the reception area like Royalty, and once again there was no need to introduce ourselves. I had been in contact with the guestrelations manager days before arrival, but never could have guessed I had set the wheels in motion for what became one of the most magical hotel stays ever; and let me tell you we are used to some comfortable hotels, but this is truly NEXT LEVEL. Every aspect of both the flawless service from ALL staff members, to the attention of smallest details was sooo impressive that within the first hour after check-in we came back down to the reception and extended our stay for which they immediately blocked our suite for the next couple of days so that we wouldn’t have to move within the hotel; the same day we already decided to return next year, wild horses can’t keep me away from Carlton Cannes in the future. Like any business, the secret of it’s succes lays in the hands of a capable manager whom knows how to choose and guide his/her entire workforce into perfection. "Services werw below expectations When arriving no valet was in front,nobody took our luggages Toiletry was not refilled properly daily At breakfast the experience was very poor,slow service,a lot of items not included free of charge,although our beakfast was included in the room rate A plus for the reception team ,they were great and polite,allways there with a smile,we got late check out(till 3pm) for one of the 3 rooms"
