"If you’re a history buff or lover of grand building -this is your patch of heaven -You are living history! Can’t really call it a tea/coffee station. It’s a deli! Every snack and drink. You could just stay in your room. Macaroons. Cake. Sweet treats. It goes on and on…. Then there’s afternoon tea. We had it in our room. It was too huge and fantastic to leave. Amenities Skip the basics-there’s so much going on! mouthwash. Brush. Comb. Nail buffer. Body scrub. Bath salts. Hair band my There’s even a full manicure set in leather pouch. It’s like having liberty in your bathrooms (note plural!). I forgot to mention the gorgeous face cleanser-love it! The gorgeous gifts certainly have the edge -nothing as lowly as a chocolate on your pillow! Night shirt. Eye mask. Elegant fabric book. Velvet bag. Laduree macarons as a departing gift. Your luggage even has a name tag with your initials on it. It was like Christmas Day! Off we went on our golf buggy. Playing classical music like an ice cream van (that’s a British thing!). It’s telling us stories about points of interest as we pass. Take the buggy even if you are a walker. You can hop on and off. Park it anywhere. We were ladened with info from our butler. Map. Water. Tickets for access to gardens and palaces (becuse we wanted to see it after our private tour!). Motor boat ticket. Free champers at one of the restaurants in Versailles gardens! We took one of the endless pre-made cocktails and crisps from our mini bar and had a micro-diy-picnic at the water side! They really don’t miss a trick-I was surprised our butler didn’t pop out from behind a tree with a picnic blanket and candelabra! Breakfast-feast. Do not miss the hot chocolate. It’s basically warm sauce! Then order a coffee- you will be joined by the sungod king! The stunning glassware and crockery also deserve a mention. It’s of the era. The table decor is art! Wine is expensive. Be prepared warned about the wine flight at €500 each! But it is lovely wine. Jardinières is a relaxed yet dramatic experience. Portions are unusually large. It’s to be shared. Oddly I may have enjoyed this more than the elaborate ducasse feast. Whilst it’s drama and authentic the food is not Michelin star. But don’t let that put you off the experience. I could go on and on. There is nothing to fault in this flawless and opulent experience. Service. Location. Interior design . Ambience. Variety. Care.Thought for your every need before you even wanted it. Dress up for dinner."
