PB hotel design editorial

Perched above the sandy crescent of Megali Ammos beach, just minutes from Mykonos Town, a cluster of whitewashed Cycladic volumes steps down toward the Aegean in the manner of a hillside village — which is precisely the organizing logic behind Bill & Coo Suites and Lounge. The property, which earned a place among the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, was conceived as a refined interpretation of indigenous island architecture rather than an imposition upon it. Dry-stone retaining walls terrace the site toward the waterline, the same local schist visible in the images anchoring the beach club to the landscape with a geological honesty that more decorative approaches would have squandered. The interiors navigate a familiar Aegean tension — between the island's vernacular whitewash-and-beam tradition and the contemporary appetite for restraint — and largely resolve it well. Exposed timber ceiling joists in dark and pale wood read against lime-white walls, polished concrete floors keep the palette cool underfoot, and the guest rooms are furnished with low oak-framed beds, wire-mesh accent chairs with a nod to Bertoia, and oversized linen headboards in warm greige. The beach restaurant extends beneath a slatted timber pergola, wicker and rope-weave chairs arranged around dark marble-topped tables, mature trees pushing through the structure to frame uninterrupted views across the bay toward Delos. The pool terrace, fitted with teak-framed daybeds branded in the hotel's monogram, sits flush with the sand — a composed, unhurried foreground to one of the Aegean's more persuasive horizons.

Bill & Coo Suites and Lounge Reviews

"Bill & Coo Mykonos is the definition of luxury hospitality. It’s the type of place where you never open a single door yourself, everyone knows your name, and yet somehow it never feels pretentious. Instead, you feel completely comfortable, relaxed, and at home while still being genuinely pampered — a balance that is incredibly difficult to find. Every single aspect of our stay was truly five-star, from the airport pickup to the spa services. Janis gave what was genuinely the best massage of my life — absolutely one of a kind. Petros, our concierge, took care of every last detail imaginable: ATV rentals, dinner reservations, recommendations, transportation, and every random question we had along the way. Dimitris at breakfast and the pool was witty, warm, and incredibly attentive. He somehow always anticipated what we needed before we even asked and made every morning and afternoon feel effortless and enjoyable. A special thank you also goes to Elizabeth at the front desk, who quite literally saved the day. After I accidentally left my cell phone in our transfer vehicle on the way to the airport, she immediately coordinated an emergency reroute with the driver and made sure I had my phone back in hand before boarding our flight. The level of care and urgency she showed perfectly reflects the service culture of this hotel. The location is also perfect. Bill & Coo feels peaceful and secluded, yet it’s centrally located and an easy walk into Hora where all of the shopping, restaurants, and nightlife are. We loved being able to enjoy the calm luxury of the hotel while still having quick access to everything Mykonos has to offer. We booked a room with a private infinity pool and if you can splurge for it — do it. The privacy was incredible, the afternoon sun was perfect, and it completely elevated the experience. Breakfast was exceptional as well — beautifully prepared, made to order, and absolutely worth including in your package. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hotel or the people who make it so special. The staff overall was always available, always attentive, but never in a way that felt intrusive or overly formal. Bill & Coo is truly heaven on earth. We would return any and every time we come to Mykonos — I genuinely wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else."

Plus, the hotel is conveniently located near the main town on the island, so you can save on taxis if you prefer to explore on foot. And let’s not forget the incredible sunset views! "Amazing hotel - view is amazing from every room, pool, and dining room. Less than 10 mins from town via taxi. The best part of this place is the staff - everyone is super attentive and helpful. The breakfast is absolutely amazing, probably the best we've had. You order off the menu and it's all you can eat. The staff does everything to cater to whatever you want to eat. The pool is beautiful, and you will constantly have a filled glass of water (by the staff) while lounging. Absolutely would come back for sure!"
