Dry-stacked local schist and whitewashed render sit side by side at Rocabella Mykonos Hotel & Spa, an opposition that defines the property's architectural identity more than any single gesture. Set above Agios Stefanos bay on the island's northern coast, the complex arranges its roughly forty rooms across a low-rise cluster of cylindrical and cubic volumes that reference the vernacular farmstead compounds of the Cyclades without retreating into pastiche. The massing steps organically across the hillside, arched openings and rounded towers anchoring the stone-built lower levels while bright plaster volumes rise above — the whole composition legible from the water as something that grew from the terrain rather than was imposed upon it. Inside, two distinct registers emerge across the room categories. The older-style accommodations lean into classic island simplicity — whitewashed walls, weathered pine dressing tables, striped cotton throws, and French doors flung open to whitewashed balconies with unbroken Aegean views. The newer suites move toward a more considered material palette: polished lime plaster in warm sand tones, large-format stone-effect tiling, caged black pendant lights, and built-in plaster benches that curve with the cylindrical walls. The poolside restaurant shelters beneath exposed timber beam ceilings, woven-rope chairs and teak tables arranged against rough schist walls hung with carved wooden roundels, natural linen drapes tied back to frame the Aegean at dusk. The effect is closer to a well-edited private compound than a conventional hotel.

Rocabella Mykonos Hotel & SPA Reviews
"We returned from Rocabella a couple of weeks ago and are already looking to return next year! Our stay at was absolutely perfect. From the moment my friend and I arrived, Fay and Nikolaos went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, nothing was ever too much trouble. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made our holiday unforgettable. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful views of the sea, stylish rooms, and a relaxed, luxurious atmosphere. Our room was breathtaking, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a peaceful and indulgent experience. Breakfast was great each morning, with the option for hot food available. The team were so attentive and remembered our food and drink preferences, which was a thoughtful touch. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!"

"After having a very bad start to our day ( had my suitcase stolen on a public bus in Athens, going to airport), upon our pickup at the airport, Nikos our driver made our day much better almost immediately. Fay and Nicos were extraordinary. I had recently lost my wife and was coming with a family friend, so needed to change our bed configuration. One call, Done. They were both amazing people. They were kind, professional and couldn't do enough for us. We had a terrific stay in large part due to them. Her food is amazing. By the end of our short stay I thought of them as friends, but first and foremost, Angels. I thought I had lost my passport after we checked out. I called and asked Fay if someone could look around the room for it. No luck, Four of the staff, walked the property and part way down to a bus stop we had used looking for it. I thought it was gone. Fay called about 2 hours later saying they had found it The maid found it when making up the bed. It had fallen down between the night stand and the bed. There was cash in the pouch as well. They even made arrangements to bring it to us. There were a number of things I was struggling with that they made much much better. Angels, both of them. Thanks to the owners of the property as well for being so understanding. Thank you all, Jerry"

"If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Mykonos, you should definitely stay here. My Fiancée and I have stayed in many different types of accommodation across the world over the past 10 years and consider ourselves very well travelled. We both agree that the Rocabella is without a doubt the best place we have ever stayed and is the definition of flawless. Firstly, the staff here are second to none and provide such a welcoming and incredible service. Even before our stay, I had communicated with them over email to arrange proposing to my girlfriend (now Fiancée) on our balcony during our stay. They went above and beyond in helping me plan and put together a special experience to ensure it was as perfect as it could be without causing me any stress. Upon our arrival at the hotel, the staff were very friendly and informative about our accommodation and Mykonos in general. The reception team maintained this high level of service throughout our stay and remained approachable in person and even via text over WhatsApp. The bar and restaurant staff were outstanding as well. Every morning we were greeted with a lovely “Good Morning” by the waitress and she remained attentive throughout the day by every now and then checking in on us by the pool to see if she could be helpful in anyway. She made such a positive impact on our stay and she is a crucial asset to the team here. In addition to her, the bartender was similarly as impressive and his cocktail making skills were incredible. Every single drink we had was up there with the best we’ve ever had and we did not have a single bad drink or food from here. We were also very impressed with the housekeeping staff, they did such a great job in working around times people were in their rooms to ensure they were not hindering anyone. This meant we did not feel rushed to leave our room for it to be cleaned as they would come at a suitable time which was a really nice experience. Each time we saw them, they would always be friendly and greet us, despite having a tough job cleaning rooms in such heat. We booked to stay in a Deluxe Sea View Suite With Outdoor Mini Plunge Pool. When you think of luxury and a dreamy Aegean holiday, this is exactly that. The room was incredibly clean throughout with not a spec of dust, dirt or grime anywhere. The appliances and fixtures were all very well maintained with no discolouring, damage or build up of gunk such as limescale. The presentation of the room was beautiful with such a luxurious feel to it that felt in tune with the Mykonos vibes. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there were two different types of pillows to choose from to ensure you could have the right one for you. I prefer a squishy pillow which I used and my Fiancée used the firmer one so we both had a great night sleep. The views from our balcony were phenomenal as we could both see the sunrise and sunset over the sea from our very own balcony and even our own private pool! The balcony itself is very spacious with two very large sun beds which are larger than standard ones meaning they were very comfortable and could easily spend hours on them. There was also a table with four chairs meaning we could sit there enjoying drinks and food and even play card games. The shower on was spotless and very roomy. The temperature was perfect which could get very hot if we wanted it or nice and cold to cool down if we needed to. The pressure of the shower was perfect too as sometimes when we stay in places the pressure feels underwhelming but here we had no issues at all. The provided lots of quality showering products and amenities such as a vanity kit which was a nice touch. There was air conditioning throughout the suite which was controlled by a panel by the front door which could be set to as low as 16 degrees Celsius which we really liked as a lot of places now restrict how low you can set air conditioning, but not here! The facilities on site are brilliant with a very large main pool with lots of nice sun loungers and beds to use around it without. They have struck the perfect balance between having enough beds and chairs without it feeling cluttered. They maintain a very tranquil and relaxing atmosphere around the pool and bar with calming music at a suitable level that is enjoyable but not too loud. There is a gym which I felt was good with cardio machines and free weights. The only thing I would have liked to have seen in there is a cable weight machine to complete my workouts but this isn’t an essential. There is a spa here as well offering a sauna and massages but we didn’t use these as we were more than happy with relaxing and enjoying the rest of the Rocabella. The location is very good as it is a short drive into the centre of Mykonos town (Old Port) by taxi it is approximately 10 minute and by bus it is no more than 20 minutes including a short walk to the bus stop. Rocabella offer a transfer service throughout your stay so you do not need to worry about ordering taxis as the hotel and do this themselves driving you everywhere for around (€30-€40 per trip). From our research their transfer prices were cheaper than any taxi service on the island by at least €2-€5. However, I would suggest that you consider a balance with taking the bus as well if you’re happy to walk about 5 minutes to the bus stop as it is way cheaper (€2 per person per trip). It would be nice to see their transfer service slightly cheaper as we would have used it even more, but we do understand that their prices are already incredibly competitive with other taxi services on the island. I would like to thank the staff at the Rocabella for such a memorable and incredible stay. We genuinely are so grateful for the perfect service they have provided and we have already decided we will plan to come back here soon."

"The Rocabella is very chic and offered great views of the sea from our room. The showers had good water pressure and toiletries. There were good closets and a large safe for belongings. They had bathrobes and some slippers so you don’t have to walk barefoot on the polished concrete floors. The bed was king size and the tv was probably 55 inches and was a smart TV with a strong signal. There was a coffee maker was a Nespresso by DeLonghi if you wanted a coffee before breakfast opened at 8 am. There was a small room fridge with mini bar for extra charge (€5 for a 750 ml bottle of water). The king sized was bed was really comfortable. The two annoying things was the A/C which made loud mechanical sounds - they sent a repairman but then the A/C turned off at night and made the room hot. We got them to reprogram that and then the loud mechanical sounds resumed. Not great sleep. The other thing was they room phone which just beeped incessantly but we didn’t complain, just unplugged it. The gym was simple but was handy and we used it a couple of times. Very convenient. The staff was lovely and always cheerful. Pool was great. Good location to bus to get to the Old Port. Near some good restaurants also."
