PB hotel design editorial

Spread across 35,000 square metres of sun-bleached Parian hillside above Naoussa, a cluster of flat-roofed white volumes arranged in the loose logic of a Cycladic village opened in June 2026 as Oroséa Paros, Autograph Collection. The forty suites read less as hotel rooms than as private compounds: each sits behind dry-stone boundary walls built from local schist, each opens directly onto its own plunge pool, and the long reflecting pools that stitch the terraces together at dusk create a geometry that belongs as much to land art as to resort planning. Whitewashed render meets rough-cut stone throughout the exterior, a pairing that keeps the massing from feeling imported. Indoors, the palette moves toward the warm taupe of polished microcement walls, dark-stained oak bed frames, and floors in pale local stone — understated materials that absorb Aegean light without competing with the views framed through full-height sliding glass. The bar takes a different atmospheric path entirely: raw schist walls, heavy timber beams, and a ceiling layered with hanging raffia fringe give it the density of a shepherd's shelter translated into something more theatrical. The seating throughout mixes rounded linen-upholstered chairs on walnut frames with low modular sofas in textured grey wool, grounding the spaces in craft and weight. The effect across the property is of a place that knows exactly where it is and has chosen to stay there.
