"What should have been a relaxing hotel stay turned into one of the most unpleasant hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. The most ridiculous part of the stay was being told we were not allowed to order from the room service menu while sitting at a table in the hotel restaurant — despite the food coming from the exact same kitchen, and despite the restaurant being almost completely empty. Instead of handling the request professionally or with any flexibility, both the hotel manager and reception manager responded with sarcasm, rudeness, and a completely dismissive attitude. It was honestly shocking to witness management behave in such an unwelcoming and arrogant manner toward paying guests. What makes this even more disappointing is that many of the other staff members were absolutely lovely — warm, polite, and clearly embarrassed by the behaviour of management. Several employees showed genuine kindness and professionalism, which unfortunately was completely overshadowed by the attitude at the top. A hotel is defined by how guests are treated, and in this case the management made the entire stay feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Overall, this was a dreadful experience and I would strongly warn others against booking this hotel. There are far better places to stay where guests are treated with basic respect and courtesy."
