Dry-stacked schist walls rising from the Aegean scrub at Ampelas, on Paros's quieter northeastern coast, establish the architectural grammar for Vione Paros before a single room comes into view. The massing — low-slung whitewashed volumes terraced down a rocky hillside, punctuated by those rough stone inserts and capped with flat rooflines — draws directly from Cycladic vernacular building tradition while maintaining a precision of detail that belongs to contemporary Greek resort architecture.
