"I stayed at The Ritz as part of a corporate event. I was quite excited to stay at one of the heritage hotels of Bangalore but was quite disappointed. It is located in the heart of Bangalore, close to Lavelle Road & UB city, with all major attractions nearby. The breakfast spread was large, the rooms were large and comfortable made in old luxury style. However, the good parts end there. The food served as part of the event was quite average, even bland. I was quite disappointed by the hospitality at such a premier hotel. The entire hotel staff seemed to treat people from the corporate event like cattle. They were all snobbish to a degree that is not at all expected from a chain known for luxury. I mistakenly entered the ritz club instead of the lobby lounge and felt the entire staff judge me from top to bottom. Have never felt so unwelcome. The reception staff was so unattentive, they were only interested in serving their clients from outside India. When I requested the reception to retrieve my luggage from the concierge, they actually told me to go to another floor and get it myself. I had to explicitly tell them that they need to get it for me. I have stayed in flagship properties around the world and can say this is not worth spending your money. Despite being a Marriott Bonvoy member, I don’t think I’m going to choose a Ritz again, specially in India. Someone needs to train the staff and tell them that they are not the ones defining the “luxury” narrative but the people who choose to stay there are."

"I had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms were well-maintained, the amenities were excellent, and everything I needed was easily available. The hotel was also peaceful with very low noise levels, which made the stay relaxing. A special mention to Abhay, who handled my check-in. He was very professional, polite, welcoming, and made the whole process smooth and pleasant. His attention to detail and friendly attitude really stood out. Overall, it was an excellent experience. The cleanliness, amenities, peaceful atmosphere, and outstanding service made my stay memorable. I would definitely recommend the hotel and look forward to staying here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
