First of all, I want to say that for me, this is the best hotel in Bali, and I’ll explain why. From the moment you arrive, you are always welcomed by truly amazing staff. There’s something special about this place—it makes me feel at home every single time, which is why I always choose to book Alila whenever I visit Bali. The sunsets here are simply the best I’ve experienced. The pool areas are beautiful and well-designed, with options that are perfect if you’re traveling with children or looking for a more adults-only atmosphere. The food at the restaurant is excellent, and the drinks at the beach bar are, without a doubt, the best in Bali. If you book a room with an ocean view, you’ll wake up to the most beautiful start to your day—it’s truly unforgettable. If I were to mention one small downside, it would be that the beds are a bit firm for my liking, especially as someone with a sensitive back. "Simply Outstanding – The Best Hotel We’ve Ever Stayed In We recently stayed at Alila Seminyak and I can honestly say it was one of the most incredible hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Having travelled a lot and stayed in many hotels over the years, this one now sits firmly as our number one. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble and every request was met with a genuine smile and eagerness to help. What really stood out was how welcoming they were to our 4-year-old son. They made him feel completely at home, which made the whole experience even more special for our family. The cleanliness and presentation of the hotel was flawless. Our room was always immaculate and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job. There was constant bottled water replenished, nightly turndown service, and the highlight for our son — towel figures left in the room which he absolutely loved. Those small touches really made the stay memorable. The breakfast each morning was sensational. What we loved most was the flexibility — you could choose from the buffet, order from the menu, or mix between both. There was a fantastic range of Indonesian dishes as well as Western options, so there was something for everyone and it never felt repetitive. The beach bar was another highlight. The atmosphere was perfect for relaxing by the ocean, the service was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and drinks. A special mention also goes to the concierge team, who were incredibly helpful. They assisted us with planning arrangements for my wife’s 40th birthday, as well as helping with various other plans and requests during our stay. Their support and attention to detail really made the celebration special. Overall, the staff truly make this hotel what it is. Their friendliness, professionalism, and genuine care for guests sets Alila Seminyak apart from anywhere else we’ve stayed. We travel frequently and stay in many hotels around the world, but Alila Seminyak stands above them all. We will absolutely be returning. Highly recommended."
