"Super service started before we arrived, making efforts to accommodate a late change I requested to increase the group size despite the hotel being fully booked. The excellent service continued throughout the stay. The hotel itself and surrounding grounds are beautiful. Easy walk into Killarney but hotel grounds arebso quiet and feel like a remote location. Free EV charging was a bonus. Can't remember a better overall hotel experience. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"I can’t say enough good things about Cahernane House in Killarney. The setting is beautiful at the end of a leafy tree lined avenue overlooking Killarney national park & the mountains in the distance. The house is full of character & history, with sumptuous furnishings & nice places to sit & admire the views. The gardens that surround the house are fabulous too. The bedrooms are super luxurious with the highest thread count bedding & Elmis toiletries. I stayed for two nights with a group of 15 as part of a 15 night tour of Ireland and have to say it is the best place we have stayed in Ireland."

"This place was one of our faves in Ireland. The staff was very accommodating. I am sure they even requested a herd of deer come to greet us. We had a wonderful stay here and loved the history of the place. A definite must stay."

"Booked in for one night as attending an event nearby. Very impressive from outside and receptionist who checked us in was extremely professional and friendly. We were given a card to get a free prosecco in the bar if we wished. Our room was on the 4th floor and while nicely decorated it was a bit dull especially given there were only 2 small windows, however view out to front of hotel & garden was lovely. Fine sized bathroom with lovely shower & great pressure in the water. Lovely towels and toiletries provided. We had food in the cellar bar and it was fine - fish & chips and a sirloin steak. We returned later that evening around 10.45pm and had a drink, very friendly barman who definitely made up for lack of atmosphere in the bar. Breakfast was probably where we felt the hotel was below par - fruit already in little bowls and consisted of melon & apples. Had little jars of yogurt with coulis and some granola in a dish to add. No cereals on offer. We both had full irish - 1 sausage, 2 rashers, half a black and white pudding, half a big mushroom, half a tomato and a fried egg. My partner doesn't eat eggs but was not offered extra of anything else instead. We were not offered any toast so had some brown bread that was on the buffet counter. There was a small selection of small scones & croissants. While hot food was cooked to order, there was nothing special about it. Overall, for a 4 star hotel we expected better."
