"My wife and I stayed at the Gardena Grodnerhof in July 2026. It’s a lovely hotel in a lovely town, with very comfortable and well appointed rooms, and all the amenities one would expect of a 5 star hotel. But what really set this hotel apart for us was the amazing service. The staff really went above and beyond, helping us with our difficult dietary restrictions (kosher diet), preparing the menu for us in advance, bringing in ingredients not readily available, and making sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. This level of service is really special. So we wanted to say thank you to all the staff, and especially Walter, Filomena, and all the kitchen staff who helped make our stay so special."

"Wow! We absolutely loved this hotel! The 3 night stay couldn’t have been better. This hotel is a family run hotel and we were greeted by the 4th generation daughter who was delightful. Actually, everyone who worked there was amazing, from Simon the concierge, also family, to Walter, who makes the restaurants even more special. The hotel is 5 star, and we stay in many of the finest hotels in the world. Our room was just renovated and was perfect, with all the latest amenities. Actually, the entire hotel seemed brand new. We had reservations in town for dinner, but after one night and sampling the food in the hotel, we changed plans and ate in the hotel dining rooms as the grilled meats and fondue were excellent. I am so glad we experienced the Gardena Grodnerhof and I would strongly recommend it to all travelers in the Ortesei area."
