"This is our go to in Florence. We love it for the location, the building which is original, most import the service and staff. Pietra, Andrea, Walter and John are-always most accommodating. We had different butlers, one was real good. My grandson, son and daughter in law were there with me. They set up a nice crib with wonderful gifts for my grandson. Cannot wait to go back!"

"3/5 Stars: Impeccable Service and Grand Rooms, but Overpriced with a Few Quirks The First Impression Situated right next to the Arno River, the exterior of the St. Regis Florence was honestly a bit underwhelming. For such a prestigious brand, the building itself didn't feel quite as majestic from the outside as I had anticipated. The Room (King Bed, Premium Large Room) Inside, the room was massive and beautifully designed in a grand Renaissance theme that really made an impression. I personally loved how bright the lighting was throughout, including in the bathroom, which is often rare in older-style hotels. The closet was also exceptionally large, leaving ample space so there was no need to fight over hanging clothes. However, there were some surprising flaws: Cramped Shower: The shower space in the bathroom was severely underwhelming. As an average-sized Asian traveler, I couldn't even bend down comfortably in the cubicle. Outdated Outlets: For a major international luxury brand, I was very surprised the room lacked universal power sockets. Remember to pack adapters! Other details: The working desk wasn't the most comfortable (though it served its purpose), and our specific room unfortunately did not have a nice view. Service & Dining The service is where the hotel truly shines. The St. Regis lived up to its name with its dedicated butler service, and every request we made was attended to very promptly. Breakfast (located on Level 1) was fantastic. The service was superb, and the food spread was great. A special shoutout to the salted butter—it is genuinely the best butter I’ve ever tasted! Do note the quirky setup, though: the breakfast area occupies the building's walkways rather than being seated in a traditional restaurant or café space. Location & Navigation Take the location claims on some booking websites with a grain of salt. While they claim the hotel is "in the city," it is actually a 10 to 15-minute walk to the main attractions, depending on exactly where you are heading. The best part about the location, however, is being right next to the Arno River. If you ever get lost wandering the streets of Florence, you just have to head towards the river to find your way back. The Verdict Will we stay at this hotel again? Unlikely. While the service was top-tier and the Renaissance aesthetic was beautiful, I personally feel the high cost outweighs the overall benefits, conveniences, and room quirks."

"An absolutely stellar experience from check to check out. Marvelous staff, excellent food, the best piano bar in Florence for aperitifs and after dinner drinks. This hotel epitomizes five star luxury service. Unlike most properties captured under the Marriott umbrella, St Regis - Firenze improves with time, each visit adds a depth of flavor and delivers a truly memorable experience leaving you longing to return."

"The hotel is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and is convenient for walking to the major attractions. Although our room was small it was nicely decorated. The hotel itself was somewhat dated but a nice place all the same. The breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. The only miss for me was the smaller room and the dated feel and look of the hotel. Although I enjoyed my experience there I’m not sure I would go there again."
