His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made every arrangement effortless. I also appreciated the many complimentary benefits throughout my stay, including the shuttle service connecting all of the Belmond properties in Portofino, complimentary gelato, reserved loungers at Bagni Fiore Beach Club, and access to the pool and breakfast at the sister hotel, Splendido. These thoughtful touches elevated the experience and reflected the exceptional level of hospitality that Belmond is known for. The hotel’s location is another highlight. Situated right in the heart of Portofino, everything is within easy walking distance—from the harbour and restaurants to the village’s charming streets. I even hiked up to Castello Brown and continued on to the Portofino Lighthouse. It was quite a walk, but the breathtaking views along the way made it well worth the effort. Overall, Splendido Mare offers the perfect combination of outstanding service, thoughtful amenities, and an unbeatable location. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Portofino."
