"We have just stayed at the hotel and it was fabulous! We had some reservations as had read some reviews about the service not being good. But we had absolutely amazing service! All the staff were so polite and helpful with us. We are from the UK and found everything to be perfect. The room and facilities were fabulous. We had many spa treatments they had such an amazing selection with so many options. The lady on the spa desk was so very helpful. The breakfast was amazing with such good service. The views are unbelievable from the rooms, pools and restaurants. We will definitely be coming back."

"Cape of Senses is beautiful and well managed, but it is also rigid, sterile and remote. We are from California (my wife is Asian) and wanted to enjoy a relaxing spa resort on one of the italian lakes after a two month trip around the world. Initially, we thought we chose well, the views are awesome, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfasts are great and the service is good. We did notice our fellow guests were mostly speaking German and learned that many of the hotel clients come from Germany. However, we had an incident our first dinner at the hotel which changes our assessment of the Cape of Senses. My wife crossed her legs under the table when we sat for dinner, but the restaurant manager asked her to un cross them because it is impolite at dinner. We thought that request was absurd so we said “no” and the restaurant manager insisted we leave. We did leave, directly to the front desk to complain, but the hotel manager is not on site so the staff was left to make light of the situation. While we were having that conversation an Asian couple approached complaining that same restaurant manager wouldnt let them eat in the air conditioned part of the restaurant which is adjacent to the exterior part where dinner was being served. The front desk couldnt help them either, but did remind them dinner can not be served in room or in the air conditioned bar area. Discriminating against Asians? Now regarding the spa at Cape of Senses, it is basically a steam and sauna in the basement, and all self serve. Also, regarding “remote”, the hotel is 45 minutes from anything, and although they offer ebikes, the roads are twisting and narrow so very unsafe, leaving the only optiom to take their shuttle services which they offer for Euro 110, each way. Given our experience and the numerous other beautiful resorts in the Italian lakes region, we would recommend youale plans to visit those instead of Cape of Senses, since they seem to cater only to German “senses”."
