"We had a wonderful stay at the Excelsior Hotel Gallia in Milan. The rooms were beautifully large, spotlessly clean, and I absolutely loved the combination shower and tub setup. What truly sets this luxury hotel apart, however, is the incredibly attentive staff and their impeccable attention to detail. Our seamless experience started right at check-in. Mattia at the front desk was exceptionally professional and helpful. When we decided we wanted to dine out rather than eat at the hotel restaurant, Mattia went above and beyond by offering three local recommendations. The one we chose was exactly what we were looking for! A special mention must go to the valets and bellhops. As the first point of contact, they set the tone for the entire stay, and every single one of them was outstanding, professional, and welcoming. We also enjoyed after-dinner drinks at the rooftop bar, which offers an absolutely amazing view and, once again, wonderful service. I cannot say enough about how the incredible staff enhanced our stay. We highly recommend this hotel! Would definitely return."

"We stayed at this property at the end of June 2026 and were truly impressed by the exceptional hospitality we received throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, Matattia at the Front Desk and Daniel in the restaurant stood out for their warm, attentive service. "We stayed at the hotel during the European heat wave in June. While our room and some of the common areas were often quite warm, we still had a pleasant stay overall. Our room was a small suite overlooking the main road in front of the hotel, so there was always plenty of activity, including traffic and the streetcar. The suite was smaller than we expected, but it was comfortable and well-appointed. It had everything we needed, and we were pleased with the accommodations. The biggest advantage of the Excelsior is its central location. You're within easy walking distance of many of the city's top sights, restaurants and attractions. One downside was the hotel bar, which we found to be extremely expensive. Paying about $30 USD for a single drink felt excessive. We paid €2,500 for a two-night stay in the suite, which seemed quite expensive for what we received. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay. The excellent location is the hotel's biggest selling point, but the high room rates and expensive bar made it feel like a less compelling value."

"We only stayed here for one night, but I wish that we had more time in this hotel. We had two rooms, a standard king and a suite. The standard room is spacious and will be more than enough for couples. The toiletries are first class. While the location is convenient for those arriving or departing from Milano Centrale, if you need to go to the shopping area there's a convenient shuttle. The staff is great, we had such good experiences with the front desk and the concierge that we enthusiastically recommend this property."
