PB hotel design editorial

Directly across from Trajan's Column and the excavated ruins of the Imperial Fora, where two millennia of Roman history lie exposed at street level, the NH Collection Roma Fori Imperiali inhabits a salmon-toned early twentieth-century palazzo whose upper floors command one of the most archaeologically charged views in Europe. The rooftop terrace makes that context impossible to ignore — the illuminated Altare della Patria fills the horizon at dusk, its Brescian white marble gleaming against a violet sky, while the dome of Santissimo Nome di Maria rises just below the parapet edge. Few hotels in Rome can claim proximity this immediate to both ancient and Risorgimento-era monuments simultaneously. The interiors work a considered contrast between the palazzo's classical bones and a palette that skews contemporary without abandoning warmth. Guest rooms carry large-format toile-style murals across their headboard walls — monochrome engravings of Roman temples and umbrella pines that place the grand tour tradition in deliberate dialogue with teal-upholstered quilted headboards, brass-framed marble-topped desks, and gilt reading lamps with articulated necks. The lobby bar area introduces a more decorative register: abstract fresco-style wallcoverings printed with dragonfly motifs in dusty rose and slate grey, arched doorways trimmed in brushed brass, and Carrara marble checkerboard flooring that echoes the terrace tiling above. The effect throughout is a hotel that wears its Roman address lightly but never lets you forget exactly where you are.

"The experience we encountered at NH Collection Imperiali Fiori was exceptional from beginning to end. Every single member of staff had the same impeccable friendly and professional manner, they couldn’t have been more helpful if they tried. The entire family (even our 9 year old daughter) commented that this was the best service we have ever received at a hotel and we’ve had the privilege to stay at many fine establishments. I really couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you to every single member of staff that made our visit to Rome so special"

"We loved staying at this hotel when we came to Rome last year, so we decided to book one night when we came back this year. We are so glad we did. Every room we’ve stayed in is absolutely amazing. The service is above and beyond as well. The bellhops are so attentive and quick to help you. Francesca, who checked us into our room, was another employee who impressed us and made us feel at home. We decided to book another night at the end of our trip, and she helped us do so and made sure we had the perfect room for our honeymoon. Help from Francesca made us want to keep coming back again and again. We also love that the hotel will help set up reservations at Oro Bistrot. Thank you for a great hotel experience!"

"My family of 7 (multigenerational--grandparents and teens 15-19) stayed here mid july during the heatwave of Europe when temps were 40 C daily and it was amazing. the 3 rooms we had were beautifully done and immaculately clean.. one smallish, one medium sized ( more like US hotel size) and 1 room was upgraded and spacious. our upgraded room had a super comfortable bed and i slept fantastically. we didnt get breakfast included and paid at hotel and it was pricey!! however the food was delicious! A la carte not buffet. and the view from the breakfast area was outstanding. AC wasnt US level cold however i was never hot or uncomfortable in the room and it was 100 plus daily when we were there. Never heard outside noise and we were on 1st floor. All the staff was amazing!! Constanzo/Claudio at conceirge were on point for all their recs for food/shopping everything and i asked a ton of questions. Location was across the Vittoriano and walking distance 10-15 miutes to tons shopping and great food! Great choice to stay here...will def be back next time we're in Rome!!"

"What a gorgeous hotel. Friendly and professional staff. Thoughtful touches like a cold towel when we arrived and an illustrated bookmark of the hotel when we departed. Special memories for our anniversary, we were reserved a balcony table for drinks on the rooftop and felt very special."
