Every detail feels carefully thought out, creating a space that is both luxurious and incredibly welcoming. What made this stay unforgettable, though, was the people. The service was simply outstanding. Every single member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and they were genuinely some of the kindest and friendliest hotel staff we’ve ever encountered. We’ve been fortunate to stay at some incredible hotels around the world, including the Conrad Maldives, and the level of hospitality here is right up there with the very best. No request ever felt like too much—they were always happy to help with a smile. A special thank you to Jamal, who made every breakfast such a pleasure. He was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making every guest’s morning special. Speaking of breakfast—it was, without question, the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. It didn’t feel like a typical hotel buffet; it felt like having breakfast at a Michelin-starred restaurant. The quality, presentation, creativity, and service were all outstanding. The entire breakfast team deserves tremendous credit. ROMEO Roma has set a new standard for us. "It may not be obvious from the outside, however, you will be pleasantly surprised when you step into the lobby area. Romeo Roma is a true luxury hotel with stunning architectural design by the influential architect Zaha Hadid. The hotel is located in the heart of Rome near the peoples square. Our check in process was swift and informative. We really appreciate Andrew’s help with our room upgrade🙏Our room has an aromatic steam sauna in the shower🧘 which really helped with jet lag. DON’T miss out on the breakfast experience at their Michelin Star restaurant. The amazing Ms. Christina will take great care of you 🥂🍾 Great location, unique design together with lux decor and well trained service oriented staff made our stay a memorable experience. "I was initially drawn to ROMEO Roma because of the connection with Zaha Hadid, and I expected a visionary luxury experience. Unfortunately, the reality was deeply disappointing. The design is undeniably impressive, but the hotel has no real soul or atmosphere — everything feels cold, sterile and emotionally disconnected from the energy of Rome. What really surprised me was how deserted it was. In a city where luxury hotels are usually buzzing with international guests, this place felt almost ghostly. Walking through the lobby, restaurant areas and common spaces, you constantly have the sensation of being completely alone in a giant luxury set. And the real question is: why are most hotels in Rome full, vibrant and alive, while this one feels totally empty? In a city overflowing with charm, warmth and hospitality, the lack of atmosphere here becomes impossible not to notice."
