"This was our first stop on a month long trip, and it set a high bar for the warm welcome and service we received, overall quality, comfort and fabulous location. The rooftop terrace was idyllic. The reception staff were professional and helpful, assisting us with a personalized golf cart tour of Rome, which was ideal as we only had a couple of days in the city. The Ristorante Archimede is immediately opposite and we ate there at least three times. The food and staff seemed very authentic, and it was where locals ate. We'd return to this hotel for sure."

"The hotel is gorgeous and most of the staff is very accommodating and the location is prime. But those are the only positive things that stood out. We had numerous issues, the worst was there was no hot water for 2 days! The staff lied and tried to blame it on Rome law telling us that they could only set the temperature up in a certain range. Showers were brutal. Weird because after 2 days, I guess the laws changed because it was fixed. We couldn't get our safe to work so I quit using it and opted for my valuables to be locked in my luggage. For that reason, we declined room service out of fear of theft (we had very important things we needed to be safe, including our passports and medicines) We had numerous problems, for the price, this is not somewhere I would recommend staying. The rooftop is expensive and it is horrible service. I had to wait for o a server to give me my bill to sign for almost 30 minutes. It was explained that 4PM there is a shift change, as if that made it all acceptable. Breakfast is also hit or miss. One day we couldn't get coffee after asking different people at different times and the food sections were almost totally bare. The juices were in carafes on the counter w/o ice. They were experiencing a record heatwave so the beverages were very warm. I have tried unsuccessfully to speak with a manager and I did get an email with an apology and a very small compensation (about 10%)but again, I wanted to speak directly with a person and my requests have been ignored.. There were too many issues to list.I would not recommend this hotel."

"Outstanding stay in the heart of Rome. Such a great location. We booked this over the Westin in Rome (big Bonvoy loyalists) and so glad we did. The location was unbelievable for walking the city or quick ubers. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was perfect. They gave us two large connecting rooms for our family and we really enjoyed this stay. US travelers would enjoy."

"I regret staying here, mainly due to the mattress, which was very uncomfortable. But if you are a fan of soft mattresses you might like it. Otherwise the room was ok - clean and very high tech, but also very dark and cave-like. The location is great - walking distance to all of the major attractions. However, be prepared to deal with huge crowds in Rome everywhere you go. I should also mention: we got no upgrade for Bonvoy platinum, and there is no lounge, but we did get a free breakfast. For the price paid, I did not think this hotel was a good value."

What truly elevates this hotel is its people. A special mention goes to Pepino at the rooftop bar — warm, witty, and with a gift for knowing exactly what you need at the end of a long day. Also, Aly and Nico are simply wonderful — attentive without being intrusive, always smiling, and utterly professional. The rooftop itself is the star of many an evening: perfect for a leisurely breakfast as Rome wakes up, and equally magical for an aperitivo or a late-night nightcap under the Roman sky. Tucked just behind the Pantheon, the location is superb — you are placed right in the beating heart of Rome’s historic district. The Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori, the best gelato you’ll ever have — all within easy, pleasant walking distance. No taxi needed, no metro stress. Just cobblestones and centuries of history at your doorstep. If you’re considering a stay here: do it. And if you’ve already been — well, you already know.
