"We had an absolutely fantastic time in Sardinia. In October, the weather did get windy and a bit cloudy. 2 of the 6 days the wind was quite strong and you could not stay at the beach too long. The other days, the weather was perfect. The beach is excellent. BEACH. The beach is about half mile long and is sandy. The water was just about warm to swim in. There are rocks about 100 yards away in the sea which are clearly visible. Lots and lots of beautiful fish swimming around the rocks. It's magical. The rocks make up only about 5% of the swimmable area. There if you want it, but not in your way. There are toilets and shower facilities. We were not too impressed with the frequency of the shuttle service. One day we had to wait about 30 min for one. There is a car park which is free after 15th October. HOTEL Conrad is a beautiful hotel. We were upgraded to the suite and it was perfect. Separate living room. The shower tends to flood the bathroom and the design is not ideal. Feel sorry for the house maid. BREAKFAST The breakfast was OK. Not the best and not the worst. They make lots of omelette and pile them high.. but noone was eating them. Then after a few days they made them to order. SPA The spa was a treat and we really enjoyed it, but expensive. THANK YOU SO MUCH JULIA for looking after us at the Spa. She makes great tea with honey. 5 stars to Julia. RESTAURANT We did not eat at the hotel as we prefer to sample the local restaurants. You will need a car as there is very little near Conrad. About 20 min drive is a small town Pula. Lots of restaurants and lively atmosphere. We loved Pula. I would definitely recommend Conrad and we hope to return."

"We stayed as a family in Italian low season (October) weather still fabulous sea still warm and no crowds. The facilities are amazing starting from open heated pool, a real plus in October when nights are chilly and pools get colder otherwise. Gym and spa facilities were amazing. Food excellent at breakfast, lunch and dinner. We particularly enjoyed the informal lunches by the pool where the chef was outstanding serving really good local food presented in 5 stars type of fashion. And service was very good and attentive too. Breakfast buffet was amazing too, dinner we only tried once and it was good too but we prefer wondering out to other local places in the evenings. We reckon in high season the village resort may be noisy so going mid seasons is recommended if you want a calm and relaxing stay."
