"We’ve been staying at this hotel on and off since 2017, It’s a special place for us, as it’s where we got engaged. As Lifetime Titanium Elite members with Marriott, we were only six days away from reaching Ambassador status, so we chose to return to one of our favorite Marriott properties — the Ritz-Carlton in Almaty to celebrate our engagement anniversary. From the start, the team went above and beyond. We were welcomed with a sweet surprise in our room: balloons, bottle of champagne and a lovely cake. After spending three nights, we were upgraded to a beautiful corner suite with a breathtaking view of the city. But the surprises didn’t stop there, one day, we found thoughtful gifts in the room: beautiful keychains and a bracelet with traditional Kazakh ornamentation presents for the New Year. Our two daughters were also treated to adorable Ritz Kids Leo the Lion plush toys, they were thrilled! The most touching moment came when we lost one of our daughters’ little toy ducks during a room transfer. It was a new toy they were very attached to. We asked the team about it, and although they couldn’t find the original, they created a handmade duck and wrote a heartfelt note that absolutely melted our hearts. Our girls now adore the handmade duck even more. Breakfast was excellent, the pool was quiet and relaxing, truly a peaceful escape. And to top it all off, we officially reached Ambassador status upon check-out! Thank you, Ritz-Carlton Almaty, for your exceptional hospitality and thoughtful touches. You made this stay so memorable, and we can’t wait to return again."

"Titanium member staying at the Ritz Carlton Almaty a second time and this time to celebrate my engagement. With all the nice touches and delicate care from the staff, my weekend in Almaty felt very special. My weekend was packed with events and so I was particularly pleased that my logistical requests were handled perfectly and without reminders. The hotel itself is everything you'd expect from a Ritz Carlton property - from the cleanliness, to the attentive service, and the overall atmosphere. The breakfast is a good balance of local and western selection - with one of the most impressive fresh fruit spreads I've seen. The lobby bar is unassuming and underrated with its good selection of unique cocktails. And the toilet paper - one of a kind! Looking forward to returning - perhaps for my next step!"

"Great hotel in an ideal location for visiting Almaty and all that this great city has to offer. The rooms are nice and the views are fantastic from the Executive suite. Room was very large, sitting area and TV room had great views of the mountains, ski ramps, and the ever jammed Al Farabi road. The staff were very attentive and we received outstanding customer service for our special birthday requests to ensure our night was extra special. The complimentary morning breakfast in the restaurant lounge as a Titanium was exception and a nice touch not usually afforded at the Ritz brands. Kudos to the GM for making this a complimentary part of our stay."
