The beach and pool are top-notch, and the gardens are stunning, offering afternoon tea with the opportunity to observe lemurs and other wildlife. Daily guided hikes allow you to experience Madagascar's unique flora and fauna up close. This Relais & Châteaux-certified hotel, with only 24 villas, offers exquisite gourmet cuisine. The highly trained staff leaves nothing to be desired, and the management is simply five-star. My seven-day stay was incredibly diverse, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Anjajavy to anyone seeking something special, away from mass tourism, in the upscale segment where relaxation and nature take center stage."

"Set on a lovely sand beach (and you can walk in the water 50m) with lovely villas overlooking the sea, food is excellent with good accommodation for allergies. Lots of friendly service. While there are some free activities, and some paid ones, you're really there for the beach and pool. Best chosen as the last stop on a Madagascar visit."

"We spent a week at Anjajavy, which was amazing. It truely is paradise, which doesn’t exist in many places in the world anymore sadly. The hotel is very closely connected with the surrounding environment and local people. The hotel maintains the environment and there is incredible wildlife - you can see lemurs climbing through the trees around the hotel. 80% of the food is sourced locally and you can watch the kitchen buying the fresh produce from the local people. The rooms/villas are immaculate and always kept very clean. The beach is beautiful and unspoilt. We have been to so many beaches around the world and gradually they have become more and more polluted and overrun with people. Anjajavy is ideallic. Many of the staff are local and they are all amazing. They are always smiling and they made our trip very special. We must say special thanks to Stefano, Francisco and Dominique for providing wonderful service at breakfast and lunchtimes. Thank you to William for looking after us by the pool and providing excellent water sports experiences on the catamaran, kayaking and snorkelling. Thank you to Rado, Jack, Costello and Alpha for organising spectacular walks around the surrounding area. We really enjoyed spending time with you all. Thank you to the chef, sous chef, the pastry chef and all the kitchen staff. The food was absolutely first class. We have eaten in many Michelin restaurants around the world and you consistently provide food of equal if not superior quality. Lastly, thank you to Frederique (the manager). "Our stay at Anjajavy Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The lodge itself is stunning, balancing luxury and comfort into the most beautiful location we have ever visited. From the moment we arrived, my wife and I were simply bowled over by the warmth, helpfulness and kindness of every member of staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble and everyone was friendly, attentive, and eager to make our stay unforgettable. The facilities are excellent, the setting breathtaking, and there is much to see and do, whether exploring the surrounding wildlife/scenery, visiting the variety of eco projects and the village that Anjajavy oversee, or simply relaxing. A special mention must go to the guides, who were outstanding throughout our stay. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion for the area brought every excursion to life. They even showed great kindness by laughing at my jokes! The food was absolutely wonderful, with every meal beautifully prepared and varied (no two meals were the same as the menu changed daily). Anjajavy Lodge gave us so many memories for us to treasure, and we hope so much to return one day. Highly Recommended!!!"
