"I stayed at The Westin Kuala Lumpur during Merdeka eve to enjoy the city ambience for Malaysia’s National Day. The location is perfect — right across Pavilion Shopping Mall and close to many eateries. The hotel facilities are excellent. The Club Lounge served great food for dinner, and the hospitality of the staff really stood out. Special thanks to Manager Syed, Jass/Jess, Ming Xuan, and housekeeper Yassin. Syed and Yassin even set up a kiddie tent in my room and surprised us with bath wonders and plush Westin Bearie toys for my kids. My 1.5-year-old wasn’t feeling well earlier that day, and this thoughtful gesture truly made our day. Breakfast at The Living Room was also impressive, with plenty of choices. Damia was very attentive and helpful, which showed how much the management has improved service quality compared to my previous stay last year. Overall, the combination of great location, excellent facilities, and outstanding staff makes Westin Bukit Bintang a much better option in the heart of KL compared to Ritz-Carlton or JW Marriott nearby. I will definitely be back!"

"Just completed a stay at Westin, KL. Let me start off by saying that I was returning to the property after a stay earlier in the year in the year so knew what I was signing up for. Overall, everything was in order however there was an incident which happened at the Club Lounge that was simply unacceptable at any property, much less a five star. As I was grabbing dessert, I noticed that my hand holding on to the plate was greasy but I figured it was from the food consumed earlier. Eventually, I started feeling remnants of sort falling onto my hand. I lifted the plate up and there it was, a big slab of leftover food that was still on the plate. This wasn't a small piece of food but covered almost the entirety of one side of the plate. I flagged a staff and she said, please use another plate. I had to tell her to remove the plate underneath mine as that was obviously going to be affected by it. That was it. Nothing else. I informed the Club Manager the next morning and he said he's aware of it and they immediately removed and cleaned all plates. Great but that was supposed to have been the SOP all along and not because an unpalatable and unhygienic occurrence. Cannot emphasize on how filthy the plate was alongside the soup bowls which had stains and wasn't cleaned properly. This is Westin! On a brighter side, some of the service staff went out of their way. One of them was Hash, who received my package and offered to deliver it to my room herself. Upon learning that I was checking out at the wee hours of the morning, she offered to have a to go breakfast ready for me. Always smiling and ready to assist which definitely helped soften the blow from the Club incident. Don't be expecting five star standards at this property and you'll be fine."

"Located in the middle of the buzzing city provides great accessibility to major shopping complexes which suits well with our Weekend Getaway, i.e ladies day out. The hotel itself emits warm vibes, from the front desk up to housekeeping staff. As it is a Marriot Bonvoy group, the hotel cleanliness is exceptional. The food are all delicious!"
