"From the moment we arrived everything went to plan Staff throughout our 14 day stay were exceptional Food was super - the South American restaurant, the Asian and the beach Grill were all top quality and service We don’t really like buffet dinners or lunches but when we had gala evenings the food was better than we had experienced before - the selection and quality was perfect We stayed in a 2 bed beach villa with pool - it was fantastic and so clean - well done Fayak who cleaned it meticulously twice a day Alok the exec chef was friendly and it was clear that everyone working on the island were aligned in their standards and served us very well Maanu Miraa and Areej to name a few We loved the beach grill best The drinks and wine was always free flowing and Bright in particular always kept us topped up - he always said he was ‘very fine’ everyday when asked Ahmed’s beach bar was super too Alok cooked us lunch personally one day and dinner on our last night - he went above and beyond to make sure our culinary expertise was exceptional The island is not crowded with too many villas and there is lush vegetation in the middle of it and the biking around the island added extra to our holiday We made good use of the paddle courts and tennis courts and played every day The snorkelling was the best we have had on the Maldives with plenty of sharks and manta rays with more tropical fish than I have experienced previously We jet ski’d with dolphins (expensive though) and made full use of water sports Sid was our villa host and we only had to message him and everything was sorted out Fantastic place and can’t wait to go again!"

"This was our second stay at the Emerald Resort and Spa has we enjoyed our first stay so much , we decided to take all our family for this stay 6 adults and my granddaughter and we were not disappointed , we stayed in the Royal Villa of which was just amazing set on a private beach with access directly into the ocean with a swimming pool that started in the living room. The resort staff were exceptional and always had a smile and nothing was to much trouble, the food and drink in the restaurants and bars was amazing. I must also say a massive thanks to our butler Wisham who from the very first day made our stay more memorable than we could have imagined and showed so much kindness towards my family, not one thing was to much trouble especially for my granddaughter Lyra, in closing I would recommend this resort very highly."

"My daughter, granddaughter, and I spent 11 wonderful nights at Emerald Resort and Spa in the Maldives, and it truly wasn’t long enough. The island is beautiful, and there was so much to enjoy, from a dolphin‑spotting cruise and fishing to tennis, snorkelling, aqua Zumba, and even a cinema night under the stars. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety to suit all tastes. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. A special mention to Wisham, who looked after us throughout our stay and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Jambe kept our room immaculate and delighted my granddaughter with creative towel animals each day, which she absolutely loved. Siri greeted us with a smile at every lunch and dinner, while Bright was always cheerful and attentive. Thank you also to LC, Ari, Nitin, Azmeel, and Sam for their friendliness and great sense of humour. The Dolphin Club deserves a special mention, the team provided fantastic activities for children, and my granddaughter was even given a dolphin to take home, which made her stay extra special. "First visit to The Maldives and we came with high expectations given the reviews of the resort and any pre-conceived ideas of the Maldives in general and I can honestly say the holiday exceeded any expectations we had We spent 5 nights in a beach villa and 4 nights in a water villa. Both villla’s were really spacious and well equipped, great having your own space at the beach villa but for me the water villa is something special, waking up to the views over the water and just dropping into your own pool is something I’ll never forget Despite being around 90% capacity it really felt very spacious and at no time did it ever feel crowded on the beach or in any restaurants or bars The food and drink package at the resort were exceptional, we particularly enjoyed the. Asiatique and Beach Club grill in the evenings. Great choice every morning for breakfast including different egg stations and a great array of freshly sliced fruit at the fruit station If you dive then it is well worth going out with the guys at the dive centre, did a couple of dives with one of them being with 2 huge Manta Rays which was amazing. We also did the jet ski tour to see the dolphins and turtles and whilst not cheap, the jet ski trip to see the dolphins was an experience we’ll never forget thanks to Adam in the water sports centre The gym is well equipped and the 2 padel courts were easy to book via the app or via your host, whilst not a huge island an early morning run is possible around the island on the pathway As numerous reviews have stated the staff here are amazing, everyone was so friendly and they genuinely made you feel at home, not sure I’ve ever been somewhere where the staff went out their way so much to ensure they provided you with the best service possible. We had Wisham as our villa host and he dealt with everything quickly and efficiently whenever we needed anything and is a credit to the resort. Having originally booked another resort we had to change our flights and accommodation a couple of weeks before our holiday due to the problems flying via Dubai, we’ll never ever know how our original resort would have compared to the Emerald but it’s safe to say we loved the Emerald and would return again in an instant."
