"I’ve stayed at a lot wonderful places around the world but this one has blown me away. I came solo to relax- not our usual travel destination. I truly can’t fault this place. It’s so good I’m coming next year and bringing my daughters for a world class break. Everything is perfect- the service and the food is next level- and I’m used to excellence in Dubai. Was upgraded to a jacuzzi over water villa. So lovely. I literally didn’t need to make any decisions which was super appreciated. Thank you Sid for looking after my every need and Jameel for ensuring my room was pristine. My first time in the Maldives. The food was excellent-again used to superb food in the UAE and this was top notch. I can’t recommend this place highly enough even as a solo traveller. Every single staff member was superb and the level of care was amazing. See you again next year"

"A little delay in the review xxxxxxxxx Where do we start….from the moment we arrived to our emotional & reluctant departure from the Emerald, our overriding memory will be the warmth, kindness and enthusiasm of the managers/team members. The seaplane experience was amazing and we had a champagne welcome with Jude & Jien who was our host throughout our 2 week holiday. We were transported to our beautiful water Villa which 100% lived up to our expectations. The view from our pool was stunning. The main room was spacious, light plus super clean(always) but the bathroom has to be seen to be believed. Getting from our Villa around the island was fun as every guest is allocated a bike. The island, its beaches, the interior/landscape are so well maintained in a natural tropical setting. Walking around the perimeter took 20-30mins but a bit longer if you stop off for a cheeky cocktail 🍹 en route. Although the resort was at 93% occupancy, many times we thought we were the only people on the island…..sunlonger heaven at beach if infinity pool. A highlight of our stay was the reef with a vast array of marine life including rays, sharks, turtles and an abundance of fish. A must do is the Sustainability Walkabout with Avinash which is a fascinating insight into how the resort implements its environmental initiatives. It’s the unseen beating beating heart of the island!! Restaurants and Bars……the food in all 4 restaurants were of unbelievable quality, with so much choice, variety & attention to detail. The Gala nights were Awsome! Having a sommelier in every restaurant was fabulous as the range was extensive 🍷 The Sunset bar offers brilliant cocktails which are made with quality ingredients. Late evening there is a Houseband who were unbelievable….their repertoire covered all genres and their standard was of session musicians! If you are musical they encouraged you to join them, as my partner did 🥁 So we end where we started, with compliments to Jude’s fantastic team and so many unfortunately we cannot name. However, we have to mention the following Jude, Kadi and Alok….always present morning, noon and night taking us to their hearts. Thanks to Jien who was so prompt looking after all our reservations. David and his team of sommeliers who were so passionate/engaging about wines and sharing some future visions with us. Pritam, head Chef at Asiatique, our favourite restaurant. Other island personnel to name a few Ahmed, Chetan(Bars) Navin, Sama, Alhan and Jeta(restaurants) and finally our favourite of all Tina who was just the sweetest most attentive and always had the biggest heartfelt smile for us. Thank you Emerald for making our stay exceed all expectations and making it so personal for us. We have every desire to return and are spreading our experience with many friends. "Our stay at Emerald Maldives Resort exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived until departure, everything was perfectly organized and the hospitality was outstanding. The resort itself is paradise - crystal clear water, beautiful beaches, delicious restaurants, and very comfortable villas. But the biggest highlight was the staff. Everyone was kind, caring, and genuinely welcoming. A very special thank you to Sid for taking such great care of us during the whole stay. He was always available, responsive, and incredibly helpful with every little detail. Also, huge kudos to sommelier David, who always recommended the perfect wine pairing for our dinners. "We had an absolutely amazing experience. The food was incredibly delicious, the views were breathtaking, and the water villa was simply unbelievable. Everything felt beautiful and relaxing from the very first moment. But what impressed us the most were the people. The staff were genuinely kind, warm, and caring. You could truly feel their sincerity, and that made our stay even more special and unforgettable. We would especially like to thank our butler, Sid. He helped us with every request incredibly quickly and was available for us at any time of the day. He solved all of our questions almost immediately and always with kindness and professionalism. We were especially impressed that he quickly found the glasses we had lost. No matter what we needed, Sid always handled everything fast and efficiently, and we are truly grateful for his care and support. We would also like to mention the sommelier, David, who made our experience even more enjoyable. In addition, all the employees in the restaurants and at breakfast were incredibly kind, welcoming, and sweet. Unfortunately, we do not remember all of their names, but every single person made us feel cared for and truly welcome.
