"My wife and I first came to Reethi Rah nearly eighteen years ago, just the two of us. This time we returned with our children, wondering if the magic would still be there. It absolutely was – and in many ways, it's improved. The rooms are beautifully updated – modern, light, and spacious enough for a family of four. We stayed in a Beach Villa and loved the indoor‑outdoor flow. Everything worked, everything was clean, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The service was genuinely outstanding. Not the stiff, formal kind – warm, intuitive, and personal. The staff remembered my wife's ginger tea preference, our son's love for coconut ice cream, and even left a little nightlight for our daughter who's scared of the dark. That's not training; that's genuine care. Every request was handled quickly and with a smile. It felt like they actually enjoyed looking after us. The facilities are top‑notch. The kids' club was fantastic – our children begged to go every morning with marine biology sessions and snorkelling trips. The main pool is stunning, the spa is still one of the best I've ever been to, and the beaches are immaculate. Dining across all restaurants – especially the beach grill and Japanese at Kaage – was consistently excellent. But what really stood out was the overall feeling: luxury without stuffiness, privacy without isolation. The island has evolved over the years, but it hasn't lost its soul. It's quiet, beautiful, and effortlessly well‑run. Eighteen years on, Reethi Rah is genuinely one of the best resorts in the world.
