Strung across the reef edge of Meradhoo Island in Gaafu Alifu Atoll — one of the southernmost and most remote atolls in the Maldives, a 90-minute seaplane flight from Malé — Raffles Maldives Meradhoo opened in 2019 with an unusually low density proposition: just 34 villas distributed across a private island and an arc of overwater pavilions that curves into the lagoon like a loosened necklace.
