"This was our second stay at this wonderful island. Previously under the management of Raffles and currently under Marriott. We stayed for 10 days and we really enjoyed every minute of it. For the second time, wonderful Nattu was our butler and again he went out of his way to comfort us. He went snorkeling with us in the house reef and played badminton and padel with us. At badminton he was a master, but his padelskills need a little more training 😎. Hopefully when we come back, more staff will be able to play. That being said, the padel there is wonderful. Maybe if the resort would promote it a little more, more padelplayers would be attracted to this island. In any case it is great that Halcyon now made it complimentary whereas at Raffles we had to pay. What else did we love about Halcyon besides Nattu, the padel etc? Obviously the huge villa with the gigantic bed which we loved. Furthermore the location, the attention to detail (the little gestures of appetizers and chocolates being brought to the room with at times a bottle of wine), the beautiful beach and great snorkeling, the food, the massages…. I could go on forever. Thank you Nattu and Ali and the whole team for going the extra mile to make our stay even more unforgettable. Hope to see you again next year!"

"Our stay at The Halcyon far exceeded our expectations! This was a very special trip for my wife and I and the hotel bent over backwards to make the trip special for us. Ahmed the resort manager and Zaha our butler not only took care of all of our needs, but were constantly surprising us with wonderful extras. Before we booked I was a little concerned about the overwater bungalows not being attached to the island by a walking bridge but the boat shuttle between the bungalows and the island was always instantly available and fun. The resort is in excellent condition. Snorkeling was some of the best we have experienced. The food was wonderful and frankly not as expensive as I had expected having heard all of the horror stories about how expensive Maldives food is. This is the Maldives Marriott property that I would recommend!!!"
