"We were a multigenerational family of 6 adults and 3 children (ages 7, almost 3 and almost 2). This was special holiday to celebrate my husband's retirement and upcoming special Birthday. It was absolutely perfect. We have all been saying since we returned that nothing could have made it any better. The island was beautiful and we had 3 beach villas next to each other. The villas were lovely with our own sitting out areas and hammocks, and contained everything you could need. The little children played in the sand or were in the little pool. The 8 year old took to snorkelling immediately while all the adults loved the snorkelling and relaxing. The staff were all wonderful and went out of their way to help us. We ate mainly in Bokkura, as it was easier with the children, and the food was all delicious. Such a choice of different curries (amongst other dishes) which we all loved. There was always something for the children too. All the restaurant staff were very cheerful and kept smiling even when the little children were noisy and causing chaos around us! We would like to thank Imali, Ismal, Ibrahim, Hussain, Puraveen, Tariq, Trisna and Johanna (I think) who seemed to run the bar single handedly a lot of the time. Apologies to those I have forgotten, and the housekeeping staff, as we didn't know everyone's names - everyone was lovely. It really was a perfect holiday. "My wife and I had a delightful vacation in the Maldives. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. Our villa was situated right on the beach and was clean and comfortable. We spent hours snorkeling and observing the exotic marine life. The food was really delicious and varied. During these days we tried a lot of various unique dishes which we had never seen before. A special thank you to Imali, Madu, Nabeel, Oli, Lujain for making our stay so comfortable. We could really relax and feel refreshed. Our only regret is that our stay was too short - we wish we could have stayed here much longer. We highly recommend this destination for anyone looking for a perfect vacation."

"From the moment we arrived at Taj Coral Reef, it truly felt like home—warm, joyful, and deeply welcoming. There is a specific kind of magic at this property that stems from its rustic feel & hospitality. Its a 45 minute SpeedBoat ride from the airport & ideal for a short getaway. We stayed in Water Villa 102, and the views were nothing short of a dream. Waking up to a landscape so picturesque and serene felt like living inside a postcard (Maldives, you beauty!!)... While the room was a bit of a tight fit for three adults (traveling with our son), the cramped space actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise—it led to more quality, intimate family time that we’ll always treasure. The coral reef & the snorkelling are a must do for ocean lovers. And of course there are many other activities to keep one accupied. {the Beach Villas looked very inviting & I was wondering if I should have done 50:50 for each villa for 4 days} We were treated to beautiful weather for the first half of our trip, though a classic island thunderstorm eventually rolled in. It put our snorkeling and outdoor plans on hold, but that’s all part of the authentic Maldives experience I guess! The All-Inclusive package was well worth it. The cocktails and spirits were excellent across the board. We enjoyed having three restaurants to choose from, though we did find that the Grill and Reef Bar had somewhat limited food selections compared to the main dining options. I would urge them to include more vegetarian options :) The Staff: What makes any Taj property special is the team. They are warm, friendly, and always smiling. We want to give a special shout-out to: Trisna, Imali, Hussain, and Rana at the restaurant for their wonderful service. Abigail at the Bar for keeping the spirits high. Tamim, who did a fantastic job keeping our room pristine. Kanika, who went above and beyond to check on us at every possible opportunity. The Reception team who guided us always (sorry, dont remember names) Karan (Resort Manager), you have an incredible team here! A Couple of Suggestions: I shared these with the team on-site as well, as I think they would take the guest experience from good to great: #Liven up the evenings: After 7:00 PM, the island gets very quiet. For families traveling with young adults, it can feel a bit stagnant. Introducing live music, a singer, or a DJ night a couple of times a week would add some much-needed energy. #High Tea: A small High Tea setup with finger foods between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM would be a game-changer. It’s a long gap between lunch and dinner, and a little late-afternoon snack would be the perfect bridge! Thank you, Taj, for a memorable family getaway. We left with full hearts and beautiful memories. If you like quiet, rustic, warm feel with great corals on a small island - this place is for you."
