"After much research, I chose the Phoenicia Malta. The hotel far exceeded our expectations. It is grand hotel minutes walking from the old city of Valetta. From the moment we pulled under the Portico, we were greeted with impeccable and friendly service , all smiles. All the staff made sure we were taken care of from the front door, check in, restaurant, pool - I mean everyone. They took care of all of our needs with graciousness and a smile. The lobby was beautiful with chairs and couches for afternoon tea, a cocktail, or just relax. Our room was spacious with a balcony. The bathroom was clean with everything we needed. My wife was pleasantly surprised the the high end hair dryer that she said was amazing. The views from our room were incredible. With just minutes from the gates to old city of Valetta, we were able to come and go as we pleased. We were there in the beginning of August, it was very hot. After sightseeing everyday, we came back to hotel and headed straight to the infinity pool with amazing view. The hotel provided chairs with towels. The staff made sure we had water with ice and cold drinks. To get to the pool, you walk through beautiful gardens (great place for morning tea or coffee). Hence, a oasis in Malta. Food outstanding. Breakfast was included was order off menu and buffet. Dinner was wonderful. Restaurant offered incredible views of Malta. Impeccable service. Everything far exceeded our expectations. Perfect location, beautiful grand hotel, and amazing staff. I highly recommend. We hope one day to be lucky enough to visit again! PS I wrote this myself - no AI! I am not an influencer!"

"From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Hats off to the Front Office team — warm, welcoming, professional and genuinely attentive. They set the tone from the very beginning and made us feel truly looked after. The lobby is magnificent — elegant, timeless and full of character. You immediately feel that you are somewhere special. La Contessa was another highlight. Breakfast was beautifully presented, with excellent service, while dinner was equally enjoyable. The team was attentive and professional throughout. And the pool area… simply breathtaking! The majestic views of Valletta are unforgettable, and the pool was wonderfully cool and refreshing in the Maltese summer heat. A very special mention to Julian and Calerina at the pool. They were fantastic — always attentive and making sure everyone was comfortable. Seeing the entire pool team working so hard under the intense heat really deserves recognition. They never stop looking after guests, even in extremely challenging conditions. And you barely have to think about anything — even the umbrellas are taken care of! Hats off to the Housekeeping team too. The cleanliness throughout was impeccable. Everything was spotless, fresh and beautifully maintained. A huge well done to a department that sometimes works quietly behind the scenes but makes such a difference to the guest experience. And then… the room renovation — WOWWW! What a transformation. The rooms are elegant, modern, comfortable and beautifully finished, while still respecting the character of this iconic hotel. A huge congratulations to the entire Phoenicia team. From Front Office to Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, the pool team and everyone working behind the scenes — your hard work is visible and appreciated. The Phoenicia is not just a beautiful hotel.
