But Victor and Jacob completely stole the show. They even decorated the villa for our birthday boy which was such a thoughtful touch — totally unexpected and made the whole trip feel extra special. Having personal hosts sounds fancy until you actually experience what it means when they’re this good at it. These two had a gift for showing up right when you needed something before you even thought to ask. Fresh drinks? Done. Reservations sorted? Already on it. They remembered little preferences from day one and ran with them the whole stay without us ever having to repeat ourselves. What really got us though was how genuine they were. It never felt like a script or a performance — they were just warm, attentive people who clearly took pride in what they do. That’s rare.
