"On March 9th, shortly after checking out, I realized I had accidentally left behind my makeup bag and travel bag, which contained medication, expensive perfumes, and other personal items. I called the hotel within two hours of leaving, and I was told that nothing had been found. This is very concerning given how quickly I reached out. To make matters easier, I even had a friend available to pick up the items directly from the hotel, so there would have been no inconvenience on their end. Despite this, I received no help or follow-up. I requested to speak with the General Manager, but never received a call back. I also submitted multiple complaints through Marriott’s website. While those were responded to quickly, they always redirected me back to the hotel itself—which has yet to provide any meaningful response. It has now been well over a week, and I still have no answers, no accountability, and no resolution. The lack of communication, urgency, and basic customer care is unacceptable—especially when dealing with lost personal belongings that include medication. This experience has completely changed my perception of this property and its management."

"The hotel is brand new and the hard product is beautiful. In fact, the entire district is brand new and beautiful, about 2 years old. The lobby is on the 21st floor of this high rise building, and the rooms are on the floors above. Our first room was on the “odd” numbered side of the building. However, upon arrival, we could hear a loud band/music playing from the street below which could be heard in the room. My visit to the front desk to change rooms to the “even” numbered side of the building, a simple and reasonable request, ended up into a frustrating and stressful experience. After much back-and-forth, and much negotiation, nothing was resolved. She absolutely refused to change my room, she absolutely refused to cancel out my booking (I had just arrived) and she absolutely refused to reaccommodate me at a sister Marriott property, such as the Sheraton, even though I am Bonvoy Gold. After much unnecessary aggravation, a manager finally switched me to an “even” numbered room. I should not have to fight and argue and negotiate like this, and it ruined my stay. The “even” room was quite nice once this was all sorted out, but, there was no apology or service recovery, and I would never stay here again to avoid the hassle. Note that the pool is not heated."
