"This hotel is located in a unique area, south of Puerto Vallarta. The atmosphere in this hotel feels luxurious from the moment you arrive at the lobby, with stunning views. The architecture blends in completely with the environment. The suite I stayed at had an amazing view of the ocean and an infinity pool on the terrace. This experience is totally worth it if you want a calm, top-class vacation. The grounds and the rooms are immaculately clean. We had no noise issues during our stay, and when dining at the restaurants, we could enjoy the sounds of nature. All the staff throughout the hotel were amazing: housekeepers, servers, cart drivers, etc."

"Some resorts impress you. Tamarindo disarms you. Four Seasons Tamarindo sits inside a private nature preserve so wild and alive that the property feels less built than discovered—trails for morning runs that wind through the jungle, not landscaping; shoreline made for body-surfing and quiet afternoons with a book; and not a single moment where the setting felt staged. One detail worth knowing: the main beach is fully exposed to the open ocean, perfect if you want real waves to body-surf. But for those who prefer calmer water, there's a protected, secluded bay on the other side of the property—no waves, just calm water—a 5-minute golf cart ride or 15-minute walk from the main building. Having both is lovely. The food was outstanding throughout, but the real signature is the people. Most of the staff are local to this part of Nayarit, and it shows—not in a curated, brand-trained way, but in genuine pride of place. They're not performing hospitality; they're sharing home. That's a rare thing for a luxury property to get right, and it's what will bring us back. My wife and I left grateful—for the preserve, the shoreline, the food, and especially the people who made it feel less like a stay and more like a gift."

"This was our second visit to this resort. I will not repeat what I have already written. The only issue with our first visit was the air conditioning stopped working multiple times. This problem has been addressed. The AC did go off for one hour in the middle of our first night, but after that, it was fine. The service is even better with friendlier and more efficient staff. Everything else remains at a very high level. Sadly, the breakfast buffet was not available nor was there Mahi Mahi at the beach restaurant. Nonetheless, we had a great visit and no problems!"
