Eduardo at Woodend and the entire crew at Freddy's Bar, along with the pool and lounge staff, each contributed to an atmosphere where nothing felt accidental and nothing felt forced. "This was my second visit to the Belmond Maroma Riviera Maya. On my first stay I was traveling with my husband, and we enjoyed it so much that I wanted to return with friends. Our first visit was within a year of major renovations at this property, when you might expect everything to be fresh and the staff to be extra well trained. I can affirm that a full year later, the quality of this hotel and the level of service remains exceptional. The setting is stunning, the rooms are well designed and very well maintained, and the staff provides just the right level of service - a personalized touch without it feeling overbearing. The amenities offered mean a fun surprise is never more than an hour away. And this proved a great location for an easy and relaxing friends getaway. Even with a wedding and related events on the property during our visit, nothing was ever fully closed or crowded, and the soundproofing of the rooms is exceptional. Absolutely recommend this property based on my experience and certainly plan to return."
