PB hotel design editorial

Along Casablanca's Ain Diab Corniche, where the Atlantic pushes hard against the city's western edge, Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca presents a four-storey building whose facade layers perforated mashrabiya-patterned stone screens over floor-to-ceiling glazing — a move that mediates between the city's French Protectorate modernism and the deeper geometry of Moroccan craft. The approach through a palm-lined courtyard, lit at dusk by rows of pierced brass lanterns, draws a clear line between the contained world of the hotel and the wide Atlantic beyond. The 186 rooms and suites carry that same calibrated tension inside. Suites facing the ocean are fitted with dark macassar ebony-veneered case pieces and slender four-poster frames in stained walnut, the warm woodwork anchored against expanses of travertine flooring and Tadelakt-inflected wall plaster in ochre and sand. Berber-patterned rugs in monochrome ivory and charcoal ground the standard rooms, pendant lights with a teardrop silhouette recalling traditional silver filigree work hanging at either side of upholstered headboards. The rooftop restaurant wraps its dining room in floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides, rattan pendant shades and teak-oval tables keeping the atmosphere closer to a well-appointed Mediterranean terrace than a formal dining room, with the Hassan II Mosque visible on the horizon — a reminder of exactly where, and in which city, you are.

"This is one of my favorite hotels ever. Everything is excellent at this property. The entrance, the fragrance, the concierge, front desk, room service, housekeeping, the enmities are marvelous, the gym, the restaurant and service, the view the room all simply great. The rooms are quiet and extremely comfortable. I could go on and on and on. It is simply words are not enough to describe everything. The location is right at the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful location and view. I would very much recommend this hotel. I have visited this property for at least 4 times till date, and I would definitely return back there in the future."

"Absolutely five star! We flew here from nyc, arriving at midnight with our five year old. The staff checked us in right in our room which was so helpful given the time and our exhausted kid. The room was beautiful. The hotel is very well maintained and modern, located in a great location (I believe the Anfa neighborhood aka Beverly Hills). Gorgeous place to stay and visit the Hassan II mosque and tour Casablanca!"

"We stayed at Four Seasons Casablanca for four nights. Before I write my review, some context is important. Morocco was the 49th country I have visited. Over the years, I have stayed at many Four Seasons properties, as well as numerous luxury and ultra-luxury hotels around the world. As frequent luxury travelers, we are accustomed to legendary service and exceptionally high hospitality standards. Four Seasons has developed one of the best methodologies in the hospitality industry for delivering legendary service. Across most of its properties, our experiences are remarkably consistent, and that consistency is one of the brand's greatest strengths. We arrived at Four Seasons Casablanca shortly after midnight. Despite the late hour, the enthusiasm, warmth, and level of engagement demonstrated by the bell staff and front desk team were exceptional. Their energy felt genuine rather than scripted, and they immediately made us feel welcome. What impressed me most was that this level of enthusiasm did not fade after check-in. Throughout our entire stay, every interaction reflected the same commitment to excellence. Whether it was the front office management team, food and beverage leadership, wait staff, pool attendants, or housekeeping, there was a remarkable consistency in service quality. The team excelled at paying attention to details and anticipating unexpressed guest needs before they became requests. My most important observation during our stay was this: nobody appeared to be showing up simply to fulfill a job function defined by the Four Seasons operations manual. Everyone showed up to deliver excellence! The Four Seasons service methodology provided the foundation, but Moroccan hospitality was the heart and soul of this hotel. Having a predominantly Moroccan team made a tremendous difference in creating a unique and memorable guest experience. In many luxury hotels, including some Four Seasons properties, we may interact with employees from several different cultural backgrounds within a short period of time. Those team members often execute service standards flawlessly, but the experience can sometimes lack a distinctive cultural identity. At Four Seasons Casablanca, the cultural imprint was present in every interaction. The warmth, pride, generosity, and genuine hospitality of the Moroccan team transformed an already exceptional service model into something far more memorable. As both a luxury traveler and someone who works in the service industry, I have noticed that many luxury hotels have gradually homogenized their offerings. While each brand attempts to differentiate itself, many properties ultimately deliver variations of the same legendary experience. The team at Four Seasons Casablanca succeeded in distinguishing themselves from other Four Seasons properties. The combination of authentic Moroccan hospitality, personal pride, and a commitment to excellence from every employee elevated the experience beyond what operational standards alone can achieve. Beyond the service, the property itself is excellent. The location is ideal, situated in a safe and highly walkable neighborhood. The food was consistently outstanding, and the overall atmosphere perfectly balanced luxury, comfort, and local character. Four Seasons Casablanca demonstrates what happens when a world-class hospitality system is enhanced by a team that genuinely cares about creating memorable experiences for its guests. We will absolutely return to Four Seasons Casablanca."

"The service was exceptionally friendly and caring.. The rooms were top level but you should choose 3.floor or higher. The pool is a bit too small for the size of the hotel. You can have a nice walk from hotel along the beach. The only real downside was that this is Inlay hotel Not serving any alcohol."

"Four Seasons Casablanca is a beautiful property with modern finishes, stunning ocean views and a nice pool. Walkable to a range of diverse restaurants (spanning 5-15 minutes on foot) or can easily use the house car to venture further out. Service was excellent throughout, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a spacious suite. Would definitely stay again."
