"We recently had a group of 19 clients stay at The Hoxton in Amsterdam. The hotel definitely has a very trendy, “hip” vibe, which may appeal to a younger crowd. However, one thing that stood out right away was the lobby—it was consistently filled with people working on laptops who did not appear to be hotel guests. It gave the space more of a public coworking feel than a welcoming area for travelers. The hotel itself was fine overall, but there were some drawbacks. Once on your floor, there were quite a few stairs to navigate, which could be inconvenient, especially for guests with luggage. The rooms were acceptable, but for the price point, the value didn’t quite match expectations. Several of us had poor views from our windows, which was disappointing given the cost. One of the biggest challenges for our group was the lack of a dedicated space to gather before excursions. With a group our size, having a comfortable meeting area is important, and this hotel didn’t really accommodate that need. In summary, while The Hoxton has a stylish atmosphere, it may not be the best fit for groups or travelers looking for a more traditional hotel experience with functional common spaces."

Whether it was recommendations around the city or just small touches throughout our stay, they consistently went above and beyond. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is what makes it special. Lively yet relaxed, stylish but unpretentious. It felt like more than just a place to stay; it felt like part of the Amsterdam experience. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam."
