PB hotel design editorial

Ostrów Tumski, the oldest part of Wrocław and the island where Polish Christianity effectively began, is an unlikely address for a contemporary hotel — which makes it precisely the right one for The Bridge MGallery, a property that draws its entire identity from the friction between sacred history and industrial-edged modernity. The building, completed in 2019, was designed by the Maćków Pracownia Projektowa studio and presents a confident new-build in warm red brick, its facade articulated by deep vertical fins and floor-to-ceiling glazing that step back from the garden in two linked pavilions. The massing defers to its ecclesiastical neighbours without mimicking them, and the landscaped grounds — with their close-mown lawn and white sculptural elements — give the hotel the atmosphere of a cultural institution rather than a commercial property. Inside, the 180 rooms carry the industrial register through with consistency: exposed concrete ceilings patterned with faint relief ornament, steel-framed canopy beds with amber candle-column pendants, wide-plank oak flooring, and leather lounge chairs in cognac tones that anchor the warm end of the palette. The Craft restaurant on the ground floor works a similar language — blackened steel Crittall-style kitchen enclosures, bare oak tables set with cut-crystal glassware, exposed ducting overhead — with full-height glazing pulling the garden directly into the dining room. An Eames wire chair at the desk in standard rooms and a Bertoia-adjacent silhouette in suites signal that the mid-century reference points are deliberate rather than incidental.

The Bridge Wroclaw - MGallery Reviews

"We had a wonderful time at the Bridge, MGallery! Check in was flawless, we had a room overlooking the church, which was spacious and super clean. We loved how big the bathroom was, too. We had breakfast delivered to our room one morning which was a feast - proper 5* quality. The bar was also lovely, great ambiance, and even better music. We ate in the hotel restaurant, CRAFT, on our last night, and food was fantastic. The hotel is a short walk to the old town (15ish mins) and it's situated in such a lovely quiet quaint 'island', which is wonderful to stroll around at night. The hotel is about 20 mins from the aiport, too. An Uber cost us about €18. If we ever return to Wroclaw, which is stunning, we'll absolutely stay at the Bridge MGallery again. Thanks team for a lovely stay."

"A very good 5* hotel in Wrocław. Professional service from A to Z. The rooms are quite spacious. We always travel with Truffle (a small Russian blue cat) to hotels, and she really likes this one. And to be honest, that's very important. :) They take very good care of ALL members. As for breakfast, this time it was perfect, nothing to complain about. We were there a year earlier and on the weekend it was clear that there was a shortage of staff in the dining room (possibly a one-off). Very good food, à la carte menu. Flexible breakfast service, you can swap ingredients. There is plenty of parking space nearby, in addition to the hotel parking lot. My favorite hotel brand, and this hotel is at the top of the list (and I've been to dozens of MGallery hotels)."

"Can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Staff are really good and the breakfast was fantastic. Rooms lovely and clean-love the candle lights on the canopy. Bar area is lovely. Didn’t use the spa so can’t comment on that. Bed was so comfy. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay."

"The Bridge Hotel Wrocław was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were fantastic nothing was ever a problem and the location couldn’t have been better. Despite being so central, the hotel was wonderfully quiet, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I truly loved my stay here and, without a doubt, I’ll be returning."
